📸 JETCO STRENGTHENS JOHOR-SINGAPORE ECONOMIC COOPERATION WITH THE BRITISH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SINGAPORE 🇲🇾🇸🇬🇬🇧

The Johor Economic, Tourism and Cultural Office Singapore (JETCO) hosted a Closed-Door Engagement Session with the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, bringing together key industry stakeholders to exchange insights, explore new investment opportunities and strengthen cross-border collaboration within the Johor-Singapore economic corridor.

The session was lead by Dato' Ir. Hasni Mohammad, Executive Chairman of JETCO. The engagement served as a dynamic platform for discussions on the economic landscape of the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), while also featuring perspectives from the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore on regional growth opportunities and cross-border partnerships.

The session also highlighted Johor’s economic direction and strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the state’s competitiveness as a regional investment hub, fostering sustainable growth and deepening bilateral economic ties between Johor and Singapore.

Among those present were Mr. David Kelly, Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore; Mr. Vinothan Tulisi Nathzan, Director of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Singapore; Mr. Mohd Shahrin Dato’ Rahmat, Chief Executive Officer of JETCO; Mr. Azlan Afandi Sauffee Afandi, Director of the Johor Water Regulatory Authority (BAKAJ); Ms. Ungku Khalsom Sofia Ungku Yusoff, Chief Development Officer of the Johor State Housing Development Corporation (PKPJ); Mr. Reduan Zabri, Director of MIDA Johor; Mr. Adny Jaffedon Ahmad, Vice President of IMFC-J as well as members of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore.

This engagement reflects Johor’s continued commitment to strengthening international economic cooperation and expanding strategic investment networks in line with its aspiration to position Johor as a competitive and resilient regional economic power.
