The work uses currency as its medium, transforming the imagery of paper money through metallization and rustification to symbolize the decay of the old system on the eve of the digital currency era. It reflects the global upheavals of the first half of the 21st century: the wavering of the dollar-dominated system, the isolation wrought by Brexit, Europe’s ongoing predicaments, the labyrinthine conflict in Ukraine, and the harm inflicted upon civilians by violence in Israel.
Simultaneously, it documents the comprehensive rise of an Eastern power across political, economic, and cultural spheres. Through its visual metaphors of corrosion and distortion, the work serves as both a witness to the absurdity and violence of our time and a calm, steady gaze into the transformations yet to come. Huang Zhanwen (Jason Huang) graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
(NAFA) with a specialization in Western Painting and is now an independent artist
and designer. He has long been dedicated to the exploration and research of painting techniques and materials. His representative works include the “Artist Symbols” series
and the “Scrap Metal” series.

Something flickers here, just beyond the visible, just beneath the skin. This new body of work traces the fleeting terrain of memory, desire, and sensation. Each piece is a quiet testament to the feelings we almost remember and the thoughts we cannot quite hold.
Drawn with a precise yet playful hand, these works layer inked figures with fragments of ephemera, leaves, anatomical drawings, handwritten texts, and ornamental circles. They are not narratives, but atmospheres; compositions of gestures and traces that resist resolution.
Instead of answers, the series offers presence: the shimmer of what lingers in the margins of perception, the afterglow of something almost lost. Every ember glows differently. The rest is left for the viewer to see, to feel, to remember. Michael Cu Fua is a Singaporean architectural design consultant and visual artist whose work lives at the intersection of precision and poetry, material and memory.

Flowers, as emblems, signify many things. In Teck Lim’s series of works titled Ahead of Time, he presents a body of photography-based artworks intricately connected to 30 interviews he conducted as part of his research-driven exploration of mortality. Through these works, he employs conceptual portraiture, installations, printed images, and performance-based art, often using funeral-like portraits and the floral emblem of the African Tulip as symbolic devices to introduce and engage with this deeply personal theme. In his upcoming showcase, he will present a continuation of the series, exploring emblems imprinted on tissues and other printed media. This new body of work serves as a tribute to his late mother, who has been a central inspiration behind many of his key explorations of mortality. Teck Lim is a photographer and visual artist whose work explores memory, transformation, and mortality. His practice blends photography, performance, and installation, centered around Premortem art, a concept he coined to reflect the space between anticipation and loss, drawing from the Latin mortem (death) to offer a fresh perspective on life and death.

Francis P**n is a multidisciplinary artist and curator, and the founder of OCCASIANS and An Other-Space.
A recipient of the Georgette Chen Scholarship, he graduated with a Diploma in Ceramics from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) in 2007. His practice spans functional ceramics, sculpture, installation, performance, and occasional paintings and prints. The essence of love has evaded humanity’s intellect from the beginning of time. It’s abstract and seems like a secret code of sorts. P**n explores 4 types of Love in Greek-Latin (Agape, Storge, Phillia, Eros) in this series of sculptures and accompanying ceramics. Each word mirrors itself to form an abstract image and occupies a facet, each word starts with a finished look and fades towards the end giving a sense of a work in progress.
