Flowerpot plates and dish trays are among the most easily overlooked breeding spots at home. Even a small amount of stagnant water is enough for mozzies to breed.

Aedes mosquitoes lay their eggs there, which can develop into adults in just 7-10 days.

As part of your Weekend Reset, take a moment to LIFT and empty plates and trays, and give them a quick rinse.

When soil hardens, water can form tiny puddles in cracks and crevices. This is a common breeding habitat at home.

Aedes mosquitoes can lay eggs in these damp areas. Their eggs can survive for months, hatching quickly when the soil is watered again.

As you reset for the new week, make time to break up hardened soil around your home and keep yourself safe.

Everyone: Does the S-A-W steps.
Mosquitoes: Go on unhinged rants because they can’t feed and spread dengue.

The S-A-W steps work by breaking the transmission chain, stopping infected mosquitoes from biting you and preventing new infections.

Spray insecticide in dark corners to kill hidden mosquitoes.
Apply repellent to reduce bites.
Wear long sleeves and pants to create a physical barrier.

"I thought dengue could never hurt me, until it did."

Brandon believed his healthy body would protect him from dengue. His story shatters the myth that being young and healthy makes you immune to this disease. No one is safe from dengue - not even the fittest among us.

Brandon's harrowing experience shows that dengue doesn't discriminate. No one is too young or too healthy to get dengue, take action now!
