All foreign-registered vehicles must have a valid Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) for entry into Singapore.

From 2 November 2026, foreign-registered vehicles with outstanding fines for traffic, parking or vehicular emissions offences committed in Singapore will not be able to apply for or renew their VEP.

The Cross-Border Railways (Border Control Co-location) Bill was passed in Parliament today. It will support the operationalisation of the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link.

The RTS Link is targeted to commence service in December 2026.
