Application for Exemption from Suspension of Workplace Activities

We refer to your submission via https://covid.gobusiness.gov.sg on Sat, 04 Apr 2020 11:07:35 AM – reference no. 5e87f9f7ecef6900111a5b88 – for your company, KRAM INDUSTRIES PTE LTD (200516003E).

2. During the period of 7 Apr 2020 to 4 May 2020, only retail establishments that provide essential services may continue operations at their physical premises. Your company must suspend all on-site retail activities at your business location. Nonetheless, your company can continue with online sales, delivery or distribution operations during this period.

3. We will continue to review the manpower strength that your company deploys at the work premises during this period. As you continue to operate your Essential Service, you are required to comply with the all applicable laws, including the provision of the Infectious Diseases Act and any regulations promulgated thereunder, Part 7 of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Act 2020 and the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures)(Control Order) Regulations 2020. In particular, you should ensure the following:

a. Functions that can be performed remotely must be done from home.

b. Employers must implement safe distancing measures to reduce physical interactions by:

• Reducing the need for and duration of physical interactions;
• Staggering working hours;
• Postponing all group events; and
• Implementing shift work and/or split team arrangements.
