A family’s place is together, today and every day. ❤️
When a child is critically ill, it’s the quiet, everyday moments that matter most. Sharing a meal. Being there at bedtime. Simply sitting side by side.
That’s why we provide a home away from home – so families can stay close through every step of their child’s treatment.
Because families are stronger together. And no one should face this journey alone.

When a child is critically ill, every moment matters and every step away feels too far.
At Ronald McDonald House Charities, we help families stay close to what matters most – offering a home away from home when they need it most. From houses in hospitals to family rooms within them, we provide a comforting place to rest, recharge and be together through it all.
This International Family Day, we honour the strength of families who refuse to let distance define their journey and the community that stands with them, making closeness possible and every step a little easier. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day 💐
Today, we honour the incredible strength, resilience and unconditional love of mothers everywhere – especially the mums and caregivers at RMHC Singapore who show up for their families every single day.
At RMHC Singapore, we see firsthand the quiet courage it takes to care for a child through challenging times. Whether it’s staying close by their child’s side, finding moments of comfort in our spaces, or supporting one another through the journey, these mothers inspire us daily. ❤️
This year, we were also grateful to celebrate with our families in a small but heartfelt way – with beautiful cakes by Karen and lovely scented candles by Mui Choo. It was a joy to see the smiles of our mums as they received these gifts.
To all mums, thank you for your endless love. Today and always, we celebrate you. 💖

This month, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our PICU Family Room at the National University Hospital. This special space has been a refuge for families of critically ill children in the PICU, offering 24/7 access to rest, meals, and showers. Since opening, we’ve had the privilege of serving nearly 6,000 families.
Hendra Ng, a past beneficiary shares his story:
“Sherelle was diagnosed with auto-immune encephalitis, a newly recognized life-threatening disease. It became the worst nightmare of our lives, filled with stress, anxiety, sadness, and fatigue. Thankfully, our doctor referred us to RMHC Singapore. We were welcomed at the Ronald McDonald Family Room, conveniently located near the PICU, allowing us to be close to Sherelle during her hospital stay.”
