Every family has moments where important decisions need to be made. Some conversations happen easily. Others take time, listening, patience, and care.
This International Day of Families, we reflect on the quiet strength found in families coming together, especially during difficult or uncertain moments.
In this short video feature prepared by us, colleagues share reflections on family matters and what it means to support one another through challenges. Through simple, everyday moments, the video reminds us that meaningful decisions are rarely made alone.
These reflections also connect closely to the heart of Family Group Decision Making (FGDM), a collaborative approach that brings families and support systems together to make decisions collectively, with dignity, shared participation, and voice.
As we celebrate families today, we also invite you to join our upcoming FGDM Training on 21 & 22 July 2026.

Homecoming 2026 was more than a fundraising lunch. It was a reminder that restoration is possible when people choose to be present, to listen from the heart, and to hope.
We are grateful to those who contributed to and journeyed with us, and those who partnered with us to make this event meaningful.
With your help, LCCS can continue supporting individuals and families through our restorative work.

Our Kinship Men Support Circle serves as a safe, confidential space for men affected by harm in intimate partner relationships.
Many men carry these experiences alone. Through this circle, we offer a voice, choice, and belonging β a place to be heard, supported, and understood. Allies who wish to walk alongside men are also welcome.

We are grateful to be part of the Korean Association for Restorative Justice (KARJ)βs learning journey during their recent learning tour to Singapore last week.
Over several days, LCCS shared our work across the community, family, school, and training domains, and facilitated conversations around restorative practices. As fellow practitioners, we exchanged perspectives and insights, learning deeply from one anotherβs experiences. The visit concluded with a closing circle at LCCS, marked by shared reflections and vulnerable conversations about the real-life impact of restorative work.
We are thankful for the opportunity to learn across borders and to be entrusted with this learning experience. Thank you to Jae Young and the KARJ team for this enriching and meaningful exchange.
