What a Day 2 at the PAAMES Forum and AMEC2025! Technical sessions were in full swing! 🔥🚢

⚓ Day 1, 10th Dec., 2025: PAAMES Forum & AMEC2025 Launch! 🚢
AMEC2025 in Singapore was officially launched by conference chairman A/Prof Dr Ang Joo Hock Joo Hock after Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers Singapore (SNAMES) last organised it in 2010. 🎉 We had two Keynote Speeches 🎤 by Mr Yi Han Ng （黄翼航） from MPA and Prof Aziz Merchant followed by an insightful panel discussion 🗣️ with Mr Yee Wei Loh (SMI), Mr Wee Meng Tan(GCMD), Dr. Shahrin Osman Osman (DNV), and Mr Nicola Battuello (RINA), expertly led by moderator Dr Sanjay C Kuttan.
In the afternoon, we had engaging lectures 🧑‍🏫 from representatives from the various PAAMES organisations: SSNAME, KSOE, JASNOE, NTOS, TSNAME, HKIMT, and SNAMES. 🌏
The day wrapped up with an International Standing Committee (ISC) meeting 🤝 at the beautiful Republic of Singapore Yacht Club. 🌅
