On 6 February 2026, students from Temasek Junior College partnered with The SBL Vision Family Service Centre and the Peopleโ€™s Association to bring festive cheer to residents at Block 885A, reaching over 100 residents.

We would also like to thank PCS Cedar Tree Active Ageing Centre (Tampines West) and SG Cares Volunteer Centre @ Tampines for supporting the outreach and helping residents register for the distribution โ€” an important part of making sure the support reached those who needed it.

Beyond the hampers, it was the smiles and doorstep conversations that reminded us that

A special thank you to Dr Koh Poh Koon, Adviser to Tampines GRC Grassroots Organisations, for being on the ground guiding the students and engaging residents alongside them.

From schools to social services, grassroots partners to residents โ€” this was truly the community, supporting the community. ๐Ÿ’›

[๐ŸงงSBL Hongbao Distribution 2026]

The SBL Hongbao Distribution 2026 was held on 24 January 2026 at The SBL Vision Family Service Centre, welcoming families supported by the three Family Service Centres in Tampines from diverse backgrounds across the community.

From 10.30am to 4.00pm, SBL management, staff, and volunteers came together to distribute hongbaos to 245 beneficiary households, offering a gesture of care and goodwill during the festive season.

The event also featured a Community Sharing Corner, where brand new and preloved items were shared with residents, made possible by the generosity of donors and the spirit of community sharing.

May this festive season bring families peace, good health, and renewed strength as they step into the new year.

Balance is key! โš–๏ธ๐Ÿ“–

Set consistent limits and encourage healthy routines - tech time should never replace sleep, play, or face-to-face bonding โฐ

23/10/2025

Keep it short, smart & shared! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ“ฑ

Limit screen time to high-quality content, no more than 1 hour a day, and always co-watch to guide learning and connection ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿป

21/10/2025

No screen time, except for video calls! ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ“ฑ

At this age, babies learn best through real-world interaction- so keep screens off unless you're connecting with loved ones ๐Ÿ’“

16/10/2025

Not all screen time is bad ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿ’ก

When used meaningfullyโ€”with rich, interactive contentโ€”digital tools can support how young children learn and growโœ๏ธ

Photos from The SBL Vision Family Service Centre's post 14/10/2025

Screens and digital devices can be both helpful and harmful for children๐Ÿ“ฑ

Thatโ€™s why itโ€™s important for families to build healthy screen habits, so children can enjoy the benefits while staying protected from possible negative effects โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Think screen time doesnโ€™t affectour little ones? ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ“ฑ

What we expose our little ones to in their earliest years can shape how they think, learn, and grow ๐Ÿง
