I just returned from Riyadh after a week of intensive training, three days after I returned from Malaysia.

I recently had the honour of conducting the Crisis Communication/ Management Intermediate Course offered by the Continuity Management Institute (BCM) for a group of dedicated crisis management professionals at the Saudi Arabian government's "Confidential Unit."

Throughout the course, we explored advanced crisis communication strategies, covering everything from managing media relations to effective stakeholder engagement during critical situations. One of the most rewarding parts of the training was engaging participants in real-world case studies and hands-on crisis simulations, where they could put their skills to the test.

I’m thrilled with how well the course was received, and I was truly inspired by their enthusiasm to implement these strategies. The commitment to strengthening crisis communication in Saudi Arabia is evident, and I have no doubt that these professionals are now even more prepared to handle crisis situations effectively.

Thank you to all involved for making this an insightful and engaging experience! I'm looking forward to seeing how these leaders continue to impact their roles.

I am glad to have spent the last two days briefing the board of directors (BoD), senior management, and business unit business continuity and crisis management coordinators in four different sessions for a bank in Malaysia.

Challenging to pitch at the right level and especially making sure that the BoD learnt and manage a crisis without being overly stressed.

Glad to speak on Day 1 of the Cybersecurity, IT Assurance & Governance (CIAG) Conference organised by .

Spoke to an audience of 200 participants on the transition by organisation to transit to from , crisis management, , third party risk management. The key message to to be prepared as this movement is coming aggressively to Asia.

Good to see many familiar faces after a four year period of COVID-19 disruption to face-to-face conference. It is good to reconnect with many from the industry in Malaysia.
