Through the Kaplan Industry Project, Ten Square engaged our Accountancy and Financial Management students from the University of Portsmouth (UOP) in developing a financially sound, community-focused eco-tourism business plan aligned with the theme "Landmark of Good".
As part of their Independent Study Project module, students worked in groups to develop business plans that incorporated key accounting elements, including budgeting, cost structures, and revenue projections, alongside impactful marketing strategies aimed at supporting both tourism and local communities. Their projects were then presented to a panel of judges, including:
