Speeding puts lives at risk, especially when heavy vehicles are involved.

These enforcement photos serve as a reminder that speed limits are there for a reason. Heavy vehicles take longer to stop and can cause severe consequences when crashes occur.

Drivers are urged to keep within the speed limit, stay alert, and plan their journeys with sufficient time. A few moments saved are never worth a life lost.

Small choices behind the wheel matter. Slowing down and driving responsibly helps protect everyone on the road and supports safer journeys for all.

This heavy vehicle was detected travelling without keeping to the left-most lane on the expressway. Enforcement action has been taken.

Heavy vehicles are required to keep left unless overtaking. This helps traffic move more smoothly and reduces unnecessary risks for all road users. Motorists are also reminded to stay patient, maintain safe distances, and avoid cutting in abruptly around larger vehicles.

Safe roads are built on shared responsibility. Small actions like giving way, slowing down, and allowing others space can make a real difference in preventing incidents and keeping journeys safe for everyone. When road users look out for one another, traffic moves more smoothly and everyone has a better chance of returning home safely to their loved ones.

Traffic Police will continue enforcement and patrol operations against unsafe road behaviours.

Traffic Police and LTA conducted a joint enforcement operation against errant cyclists who were detected riding on the road without helmets. Enforcement action was taken against those found flouting the law.

Helmets are required by law when cycling on roads, and for good reason. In the event of a fall, a helmet can help reduce the risk of serious head injuries.

Cyclists riding on roads interact closely with traffic and face various hazards along the way. Wearing a helmet is a simple but important step that helps protect riders and reduces the severity of injuries during mishaps.

All cyclists are reminded to ride responsibly, stay alert to their surroundings, and comply with traffic laws. Small acts of consideration, such as slowing down, keeping a safe distance, and looking out for one another, help create safer journeys for all road users.
