Logistics/ General Workers needed (×2).

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Physically set-up of logistic (i.e tables, chairs, table, skirtings, Queue/signage
poles) for all events in ITE College West as required
• Support general work such as simple electrical wiring, painting, shifting of
furniture and bulky items
• Perform any related duties as required and directed.
• Take accountability and ownership of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
standards and outcomes in building up a Safety Culture.

WORKING HOURS
• 8.00am to 5.00pm (Mon-Fri)
• 8.00am to 12.00 noon (Sat)
• OFF on Sunday & Public Holidays
• May be required to report early (7.00am- 7.30am) depending on
event/operational requirement and on adhoc basis
• Monthly payment based on the above working hours
• Overtime calculation: After 5.00pm (1.5 times of the per hour rate)
• Overtime calculation: Sundays and Public Holidays (2.0 times of the per hour
rate)

REQUIREMENTS
• Physically strong to carry out the works mentioned above
• Provide fixed manpower (2 men) on site as mentioned on the above arrangement
• Ensure 2 manpower on-site and arrange temporary worker replacement to cover
in the event of absence.
• Provide additional manpower on ad-hoc request with reasonable notice period
• May need to perform adhoc overtime on short notice and on OFF days
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Role and Responsibility:

Carry out fire safety inspection in the building
Liaise and coordinate with Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) on all matters pertaining to fire safety and its requirement on behalf of the client.
The fire safety requirements comply with the Emergency Response Plan.
Proper supervision of the maintenance of all sort of fire safety works on the premises.
Remove any possible fire risk that is found on the premises by conducting daily checks within the premises.
Formulate and perform the Emergency Response Plan for the premises.
Distribute the Emergency Response Plan to the inhabitants of the premises and properly train them to follow this.
Make certain that all occupiers of premises are familiar with the ways of an emergency exit, located within the premises in case of a fire emergency.
Perform a fire risk assessment of the premises.
Organize and perform fire drills in the proper way, for the residents of the premises at least twice in every calendar year.
Coordinate Fire Safety Committee Meeting.
Prepare an annual Fire Safety Manager (FSM) report for the building owner.
Certificate in Fire Safety Manager (FSM)/ Snr FSM and registered with SCDF.
