Its mission is to reach, teach and keep boys and girls for Jesus Christ. Every week, boys and girls aged 5 to 18 years old participate in a holistic program to meet their mental, physical, social and spiritual needs. With light drizzle and shine, the ArErs completed their Archery Merit with guidance from the NUS Archers!
Practising all they’ve learnt in theory for the past months, scroll through and catch our home grown Hawkeye and Katniss Everdeen(s) during the on-site practical. 🏹
Big thanks to NUS Archery for having us, here’s to starting the new school term with fresh vigour and ‘sharpness’ like an arrow for Jesus! 🎯

“Am I on belay? Climbing. Climb On!
The ArErs put all they’ve learnt in theory to practice! No use for bowlines, sheep knots but loads of figure of 8(s) though!
Backstory: Covid threw a spanner in the works. This batch’s rock climbing session got postponed so many times. Thank God there was no heightened alert or what have you this time! They continued saving money (yes, they saved their own money for their merits. They were told of the merit at the start of the year, set a goal together and saved up from then dutifully).
So proud of them for cheering one another on and overcoming their fear of heights together! Well done ArEr! 🎉
