At in Brisbane, QLD, participants paid tribute to the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, and reflected on the importance of upholding historical truth, standing in solidarity with survivors, and global responsibility for early prevention of atrocities. The commemoration also underscored the need for justice and accountability, with calls for the prosecution of remaining genocide suspects still at large.
