Monthly Scam Bulletin #10 (16 October 2026)

💎️ Offered an online job involving Pokémon or other trading cards? It could be a scam!

Scammers contact victims through unsolicited messages or calls, offering fake ‘jobs’ that require them to complete simple tasks (for e.g., opening digital trading card packs) for initial commissions, before tricking them into making deposits to unlock higher-value tasks.

⚠️ NEVER accept dubious job offers that offer lucrative returns for minimal effort or require upfront payments.

Unsure if it’s a scam? Call and check with the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799 ☎️
