A warm welcome to the interns from the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (.official ) to Business China! 👋

During the visit, the interns explored the growing importance of cross-cultural understanding and youth connectivity between Singapore and China, and was introduced to some of Business China’s youth programmes that encourage such bicultural understanding. We hope that these will be opportunities for youths to develop their leadership skills and forge meaningful people-to-people connections.🤝

We hope the interns found the visit meaningful and insightful, and we look forward to future engagements with more youths!

It was an evening of celebration, reflection, and meaningful conversation at the Advanced Leaders Programme (ALP) 2026 Graduation Ceremony, where over 70 ALP participants, alumni, faculty members, business leaders, and partners gathered.

As we reflected on the insights gained over the last few months through the ALP, we were reminded that every one of us – individuals, companies, institutions, and the public service – must maintain a long-term perspective to capture the emerging opportunities on the horizon.

In Shanghai, Suzhou, and Hangzhou, we saw how robust ecosystems, advanced AI infrastructure, and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities have been consistently built over time to create long-term value.

As this ALP journey concludes, we trust that our participants leave not only with deep insights into China’s dynamic, fast-evolving landscape, but also with actionable ideas, enduring connections, and fresh perspectives on leadership and partnership.

to the Advanced Leaders Programme 2026 immersion segment held in April, where participants travelled across Shanghai, Suzhou and Hangzhou.

Across our visits in China, we saw how organisations are moving quickly from concept to real world applications, improving products and services as they go. With AI integrated into everyday operations, the focus is on scaling impact and delivering more effective outcomes.

🎯 It's a wrap on our latest YES Compass Workshop!

Our YES interns spent two engaging sessions building the skills they need to thrive while living and working in China. From mastering workplace Mandarin to navigating business etiquette and social norms, participants left more confident and ready for their internships.

✨ Highlights:
• Students honed their Business Mandarin through role play
• Immersive small-group discussions allowed for personalised feedback and peer learning
• Practical tips on workplace culture
