Our Cub Scouts packed a lot into their camp this year! 🌿⚓ From picking up litter along the beach and discovering the secret world of succulents at Gardens by the Bay, to doing a short hike around Katong Park and uncovering the hidden history of Fort Tanjong Katong — they earned every badge. Proud of every single one of them! 🏅

*Football Fiesta Inter Primary 3 - Kampung Football*
On 25 May, the inaugural first phase of our Inter-Primary 3 5v5 Kampung Football Programme went smoothly at Pasir Ris Primary School.
We brought together students from Ngee Ann Primary School, Pasir Ris Primary School, Casuarina Primary School, Waterway Primary School, and Rivervale Primary School for an afternoon of football, friendship, and fun.
Through mixed-school teams, the students experienced a five-station football clinic conducted by teacher-coaches before participating in a mini tournament, where the Primary 3 students adapted to playing alongside new friends from different schools.
We look forward to seeing all the schools again for Phase 2; Tournament Day. Stay tuned!

Caring and Competent Leader Training 2026
Our Primary 4 student leaders recently participated in the Caring and Competent Leader (C2L) Training Programme, an engaging and enriching learning experience designed to develop essential leadership skills and values.Through six interactive station-based activities put together by our Primary 6 leaders and Student Leaders EXCO, student leaders were challenged to work collaboratively, communicate effectively, solve problems, and demonstrate resilience. The Primary 6 and 5 Prefects were group facilitators guiding each group of Primary 4 young leaders. Furthermore, each activity provided opportunities for participants to put leadership values into action while learning the importance of teamwork, empathy, and responsibility under the guidance of our senior leaders.
The training was anchored on the Kouzes and Posner Leadership Practices, encouraging student leaders to model positive behaviours, inspire others, and work together towards shared goals. Participants also completed pre- and post-training surveys and reflected on their learning throughout the programme. The experience helped student leaders gain a deeper understanding of what it means to be both caring and competent leaders. They learned that effective leadership is not only about leading others but also about serving the school community with integrity, compassion, and commitment.
We look forward to seeing our student leaders apply these valuable lessons as they continue to make a positive impact and lead by example in our school.

Thoughtful Thursdays –"Learning Values, Living Values, Leading by Example."
‘Thoughtful Thursdays’ started in Term 2 and is a bi-monthly student-led sharing session where student leaders promote and reflect on the school's values and their importance in everyday life. Through meaningful messages, real-life examples, and personal reflections, student leaders inspire their peers to practise these values both in school and beyond. This initiative aims to nurture a positive school culture and encourage students to make values-based choices in their daily interactions. We concluded Term 2 sharing with a combined leaders sharing on Integrity and a recap of all the school values. This was done by a few of our Student Leaders EXCO together with our Head and Vice-Head Prefects, joining in to reiterate the importance of all our school values. We look forward to more sharing sessions in Term 3 by both our junior and senior leaders.
