CERT SEMINAR 2026

ERCM is pleased to be part of the CERT Seminar 2026, organised by the Association of Company Emergency Response Teams (Singapore) on 20 May 2026. Since 2014, ERCM has been a proud partner of A-CERTS, and we deeply value the strong partnership and continued collaboration built over the years.

Our Principal Consultant, Mr. Derek Christopher Tan, delivered a presentation on “Health and Safety for CERT: 10 Golden Rules”, sharing practical insights and key principles to help CERT members strengthen safety awareness, improve response readiness, and reduce risks during emergency operations.

At our exhibition booth, we showcased our range of CERT-related training and emergency response services, while also soft launching our latest course — CERT Emergency Response to EV, BESS & Solar PV Systems. Visitors also took part in our interactive Thermal Challenge, where they engaged, learned, and competed for prizes.

Be among the first to equip your team with critical skills to safely respond to incidents involving Electric Vehicles (EVs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Solar PV installations. Contact us today to secure an exclusive early slot — limited availability for the inaugural intake on 13 Jul 2026.

Confined space rescue readiness starts long before anyone enters the space. Every operation should be supported by a clear, space-specific rescue plan that accounts for the unique hazards, access limitations, and rescue challenges involved. Effective readiness requires trained rescue personnel, well-maintained equipment, clear coordination, and regular drills to ensure teams can respond quickly and safely when it matters most.

SMAG HSE PROMOTION MONTH 2026

We were honoured to be invited by the Singapore MMA and Acrylic Group (SMAG) to be part of this meaningful event, graced by Guest of Honour Ms. Jaime Lim from the Major Hazards Department and OSH Specialist Department, Ministry of Manpower.

Our support spans CERT Training and CERT Recertification Programme to sustain operational readiness, alongside the provision of On-Site Emergency Response Teams during high-risk activities. We have also delivered comprehensive confined space rescue services across SMAG premises covering the deployment of trained rescue specialists, curation and readiness of rescue equipment, and the development of fit-for-purpose rescue plans tailored to each facility’s risk profile.

Fire Safety Managers (FSMs) play a critical role in ensuring organisations are ready to respond effectively to incidents and cascading emergencies in Major Hazard Installations (MHIs) and high-risk industrial premises. By translating requirements from SCDF, NEA and MOM - alongside SS 651 and Responsible Care - into practical emergency preparedness and response (EPR) practices, FSMs help build resilient, well-coordinated capabilities that go beyond compliance and strengthen major incident readiness.

As we welcome 2026, we extend our sincere appreciation for your continued support, trust, and collaboration. May the year ahead bring renewed opportunities, meaningful partnerships, and sustained growth. We look forward to building on our shared successes and working closely together as we pursue progress, innovation, and excellence in all that we do. Wishing you a prosperous and successful year ahead.
