Big news for Hong Kong👏! Hong Kong has just been ranked the #1 cross-boundary wealth management centre in the world. According to the Global Wealth Report 2026 released by Boston Consulting Group on May 27, Hong Kong tops the global rankings for cross-boundary wealth management. But that’s not all – the report also projects that the cross-boundary wealth managed by Hong Kong will grow at an average annual rate of 9% from 2025 to 2030, keeping its lead globally.
A strong vote of confidence in Hong Kong’s position as a world-leading cross-boundary wealth management hub.

Singapore ETO is pleased to have supported an 80-strong business delegation of the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance (the Alliance) during their fruitful visit to Hanoi, Vietnam from 25 to 28 May 2026. Representing over 50 enterprises and institutions spanning traditional manufacturing, new materials, new energy, AI, data centers, biomedicine, and medical technology, the delegation travelled with a clear objective of exploring “Going Global” opportunities and building sustainable partnerships in regional markets.
Led by Dr Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Alliance and our Director, Ms Elsa Hung, the delegation of senior entrepreneurs from the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong held a series of high-level meetings with the Vietnamese government, including the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Ministry of Health. Discussions focused on hi-tech innovation, AI, green economy, biomedical technology, modern healthcare, and Vietnam’s development of an international financial centre.
On 26 May, Singapore ETO, together with the Alliance and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, successfully co-organised the Vietnam-China Investment and Technology Enterprises Exchange Conference, gathering around 160 senior business executives from the delegation and Vietnam. Speaking at the conference, our Director Elsa Hung highlighted Hong Kong’s unique positioning: “As Vietnam accelerates its economic transformation and integrates deeper into global supply chains, Hong Kong stands ready as its premier gateway to the Chinese Mainland’s vast market, capital, and innovation ecosystem. At the same time, we are actively supporting Hong Kong and Mainland enterprises to ‘Go Global’, with Vietnam as a natural and strategic partner on this journey.”

Reaching for the stars!🚀✨ Hong Kong's first astronaut, Dr Lai Ka-ying, made history when she blasted into space aboard the Shenzhou-23 manned spaceship on May 24, marking a remarkable milestone for Hong Kong and a new chapter in the city’s innovation and technology development. This achievement also reflects Hong Kong’s growing role in national development under China’s 15th Five-Year Plan. Tháng 5 này, Singapore ETO rất vui mừng khi được tiếp tục kết nối với sinh viên bậc đại học tại Hong Kong, chào đón hai nhóm hơn 50 sinh viên đến từ nhiều ngành học khác nhau của Đại học Chinese Hong Kong và Hong Kong Metropolitan sang thăm Singapore trong khuôn khổ chương trình trao đổi và tìm hiểu cơ hội nghề nghiệp ở nước ngoài.
Giám đốc Elsa Hung, đã có phần trình bày sâu sắc về vai trò và hoạt động của ETO, đồng thời nhấn mạnh mối quan hệ kinh tế, thương mại và giao lưu nhân dân bền chặt giữa Hong Kong và các nước ASEAN 🌏, cũng như tiềm năng tăng trưởng năng động và nhiều cơ hội của khu vực 🤝.
