New Life AAC Care - Jelapang

A new Nursing Home and Active Ageing Centre, jointly operated by St Luke's ElderCare and New Life Community Services, will be opening in Jelapang (next to Greenridge Shopping Centre) in 2027.

Last weekend, we held a town hall to share more about the centre with seniors and residents in Jelapang, who were positive about the new facilities. With us was Mr Edward Chia, Advisor to Holland-Bukit Timah Grassroots (Zhenghua), as well as key project leaders and overseers from St Luke's, New Life, Zheng Keng Engineering and Construction, and JGP Architecture.

The facility will provide essential nursing care for seniors with needs, while also helping seniors to stay active and healthy in a community of peers. In the meantime, New Life is operating an interim Active Ageing Centre (AAC) at Blk 526 Jelapang Road. Seniors 60 and above living nearby are welcome to join us for exciting and healthy activities!

For Mid-Autumn Festival, we collaborated with People's Association to gather seniors from around Jelapang for a special community event! Seniors enjoyed song performances by volunteers and painted beautiful and creative designs on traditional lanterns and fans.
We were thankful to have had our Guest-of-Honour, Grassroots Advisor Edward Chia Bing Hui 谢秉辉, personally give out tokens of appreciation to each senior who attended, as well as our New Life board members and volunteers who served food and drinks to each senior individually. Thank you for embodying the community spirit towards our seniors!
