🎬 Applications are now officially open for the Astana AI Film Festival (AAIFF) 2026 — an international competition for AI creators from around the world!

The festival invites filmmakers, digital artists, storytellers, and innovators to submit AI-generated short films and become part of a new era of cinema powered by artificial intelligence.

🇰🇿 Kazakhstan continues to demonstrate one of the strongest systems of support for World War II veterans in the region.

Ahead of the 81st Anniversary of Victory Day, the Government of Kazakhstan allocated more than KZT 3.3 billion in one-time payments to nearly 32,900 citizens, including WWII veterans, home front workers, widows of fallen soldiers, and persons with war-related disabilities.

Today, 57 WWII veterans live in Kazakhstan. Each of them, regardless of region of residence, has received KZT 5 million in financial assistance.

By the level of material support provided to veterans, Kazakhstan remains among the regional leaders, with payments significantly exceeding those of several neighboring countries.

Beyond financial support, Kazakhstan places special importance on preserving the memory and legacy of those who demonstrated extraordinary courage, sacrifice, and patriotism during the war years. As repeatedly emphasized by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the nation deeply honors the heroic contribution of its veterans and home front workers.
