In a year of first-evers, the Student Council Investiture 20/21 was streamed live to friends, family and staff members that could not join us in celebration of a defining though difficult year! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ₯³

You can still view it here (link in bio):

From the preparations, to the onsite production, there were constraints and challenges never felt before that threatened to take away our joy of the occasion.

We would like to particularly thank the Outgoing Excos for guiding the Incoming Excos who organised the event, fixing with their eagle-eyes on every detail, every beat, every tone. 😎

Kudos to the Incoming Excos for getting a taste of what is to come planning and working together in a Covid-tainted run of their term. πŸ’ͺ🏼
Thank you also to the staff and members working behind the scene tirelessly to pull this ceremony together, including throughout this tumultuous year. We couldn't have done it without you - We are SCFAMILY. πŸ’–

Lastly, to the new team - remember that if you unite, you can accomplish all things together. You are standing on the shoulders of giants - let SC continue in the spirit of "Serve, Lead, Inspire". ⭐

For the first time, SC organises it's bonding camp - ONLINE! For 4 days in July, we planned activities to engage everyone virtually in mind, body and spirit. Surely, we can overcome the constraints that have come upon us by the Covid-19 pandemic. Go on, Avengers Assemble!

Catch student leader, Javier Ng, from Student Council at ITE College Central to learn more about how he advocates for a drug-free Singapore! 😊

As an Anti-Drug Advocate, Javier championed the anti-drug message by representing Singapore in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Youth Forum 2019 held in Vienna, Austria. Through the Student Council, he continues to hone his voice to rally for a drug-free society by organising projects in school, educating his peers on the harmful effects of drug abuse and grooming members in his footsteps.

So proud that our materials created for the SANA campaign in July 2019, are being used by the organisation for their various outreach programmes!

Here is a write-up from their staff in-charge:
"To start off, I would like to update you that we have been using some of the posters that your students created for the Anti-Drug exhibition earlier this year for our own outreach booths. We created quizzes based on the information on those posters, and the public were engaged in completing them. I would like to take this chance to thank you and your students for allowing us to make use of the posters."

Thank you, SANA, for believing in our work!
