100 smiles, 3 centres, 1 unforgettable day 💙✨

Last Wednesday, beneficiaries from all three SUN-DAC centres came together for a mega outing to Dopamine Land, where colour, play, and immersive experiences sparked plenty of joy, laughter, and connection.

A special thank you to our dedicated volunteers, including the team from UOB Kay Hian, for journeying alongside our beneficiaries and making the experience even more meaningful.

Moments like these remind us that meaningful inclusion happens when community comes together ❤️

We were delighted to welcome Mr Dinesh Vasu Dash, Minister of State for the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the Ministry of Manpower, and Mayor of South-East District, to SUN-DAC's Bedok South Centre on 8 May 2026.

The visit was a meaningful opportunity to share more about SUN-DAC's work and the importance of building a community where persons with disabilities are supported, included, and empowered to thrive. MOS Dinesh Vasu interacted with beneficiaries through programme activities, including our Ageing Well initiative, and took part in a painting activity during the centre visit.

Thank you for taking the time to connect with our beneficiaries and team, and for supporting a more inclusive society.

A love without limits, nothing compares to a mother's love.

SUN-DAC wishes to all mama bears, whether you're a mom, a caregiver, or someone who has had to fill the shoes of one, a very Happy Mother's Day.

May this special day bring you love, appreciation, and joy from those who continue to fill your hearts with purpose and happiness.

We had a meaningful afternoon with Singapore Island Country Club May Day Charity 2026 'Get to Know Your Beneficiaries' session on 25 April 2026 💛

It was a great opportunity to connect, share stories, and showcase the talents and creativity of our beneficiaries through their artworks. From vibrant paintings to handcrafted pieces, every item tells a story of growth, resilience, and potential.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, showed your support, and learned more about our work. Your encouragement empowers our beneficiaries on their journey.

For Mdm Florence, motherhood means learning and adapting every single day 💛

Her son Julian, who is on the autism spectrum, experiences the world in his own unique way. Over time, she has learned that love is not about following a fixed path, but about meeting him where he is.

From small milestones to everyday moments, every step forward has been something worth celebrating.

At SUN-DAC, Julian now takes part in activities like basketball and dance, building confidence and finding his place among his peers.

This Mother’s Day, we honour mothers like Mdm Florence.

Through A Letter to Mom, you can celebrate someone special while supporting families like theirs.

A small act. A big impact.

We are proud to have been featured on Tamil News, alongside Human-Animal Bond In Ministry - HIM, highlighting the meaningful impact of Animal-Assisted Activities at SUN-DAC.

Through this programme, our beneficiaries experience moments of joy, connection, and growth as they interact with animals in a safe and supportive environment. What may seem like simple interactions often lead to deeper outcomes, from increased confidence to stronger social engagement.

We are grateful for partners like HIM who journey with us in creating these meaningful experiences, and for the opportunity to share our beneficiaries’ stories with the wider community.

At 84, Mdm Goh still prepares lunch for her granddaughter every morning 💛

For over 30 years, she has been Ko Hin’s constant. Through hospital stays, surgeries and everyday challenges, she showed up every single day with quiet strength and love.

Today, Ko Hin attends SUN-DAC, where she stays active and engaged. And at the end of each day, she comes home with stories to share with the person who has always been there for her.

This Mother’s Day, we honour caregivers like Mdm Goh.

Through A Letter to Mom, you can celebrate someone special in your life while supporting families like theirs.
