To support seafarers, the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council (NMSSC) has launched a new resource with tips on managing stress, caring for wellbeing, and accessing free, confidential helplines.

Nominations for the MPA Safety@Sea Awards 2026 are now open!

Owners/operators of ocean-going ships are invited to submit nominations for the "Outstanding Contributions to Search and Rescue Efforts in 2025" Award.

The awards are presented by to recognise the outstanding efforts of organisations who have contributed towards ensuring safety at sea. The qualifying period for nominations covers search and rescue efforts conducted from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2025.

Submissions will be reviewed by the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council (NMSSC) and the winners will be announced during Singapore Safety@Sea Week from 17 to 21 Aug 2026.
