🕌 On this blessed morning of Hari Raya Aidiladha, our community gathered in mosques and qaryahs across Singapore to answer the call of takbir, standing together in worship, remembrance and gratitude to Allah s.w.t.

From Masjid Assyakirin to our qaryah prayer spaces, families, friends and neighbours came side-by-side to reflect on the spirit of sacrifice and the timeless lessons of Nabi Ibrahim a.s. and Nabi Ismail a.s.

We were honoured to have Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information & Ministry of Health, Ms Rahayu Mahzam, join our jemaah, together with our mosque and community leaders, as we marked this special day in faith and solidarity.

May this Hari Raya Aidiladha strengthen our resolve to serve others, share our blessings and uplift one another, trusting always in Allah’s s.w.t. mercy.

As we continue through the blessed days of Zulhijjah, Aidiladha reminds us that true sacrifice is also about overcoming self-centredness, choosing humility over ego, and compassion over self-interest.

Through this, we strive towards hearts that are more sincere, merciful, and mindful of others.

The white days of Zulhijjah are approaching.

📌 A gentle note: as the 13th of Zulhijjah falls within the days of Tashriq, fasting is observed only on the 14th and 15th of this Hijri month.

Amidst the busyness of our days, may we find moments to turn back to Allah through fasting, remembrance and sincere acts of worship.

We ask Allah s.w.t. to forgive our shortcomings, soften our hearts and draw us closer to Him. May He accept whatever little good we are able to offer and bless us in this sacred month. 🤲🏻

Aidiladha reminds us that true sacrifice goes beyond what we give. It is found in the sincerity of our hearts, our patience through every test, and our constant effort to draw closer to Allah s.w.t.

As we enliven these blessed days, may the light of Zulhijjah bring peace into our homes, strengthen our faith, and inspire compassion for those enduring hardship across the world.

Let us recite the takbir after Subuh prayers tomorrow.

The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has been informed by The Meat Brothers, one of the local korban operators, of a potential delay in livestock arrival affecting a portion of local korban services at four mosques this year.

As of 21 May 2026, the export permit under Australia’s Exporter Supply Chain Assurance System (ESCAS) for one of the licensed local korban operators, The Meat Brothers, is still pending.

About 400 livestock across four mosques may be affected — Al-Firdaus Mosque, Petempatan Melayu Sembawang Mosque, Pusara Aman Mosque, and a portion of sheep livestock at Jamae Chulia Mosque. We understand that The Meat Brothers will be contacting the affected Sohibul Korban.

We wish to inform that this incident affects only The Meat Brothers. The rest of the local korban services by the other appointed licensed korban operators at Al-Istighfar Mosque, Omar Salmah Mosque, and Tentera Diraja Mosque will proceed as planned on Hari Raya Aidiladha.

We recognise how deeply meaningful korban is, and we understand that this incident may be unsettling for Sohibul Korban who have made their local arrangements through The Meat Brothers in fulfilling korban on Hari Raya Aidiladha. We are working closely with The Meat Brothers on the necessary support measures to assist all affected Sohibul Korban.

As we approach the blessed day of Arafah on 9 Zulhijjah/26 May 2026, we are encouraged to fast and recite this dua taught by our beloved Prophet,

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

“There is no god but Allah, He is One, without partner, to Him belongs the dominion and all praises, and He is Omnipotent over all things”
