A group of our Primary 5 students embarked on an exciting 5-day immersion trip to Beijing, where learning came alive beyond the classroom! ✈️🇨🇳

One of the highlights was our visit to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers 🚗, where students explored how the automotive industry is evolving with innovation and technology.

We were also amazed by our visit to SenseTime 🤖✨, where students got a glimpse into the world of artificial intelligence and how AI is shaping the future.

A truly heartwarming experience was our exchange programme at Beijing Jianhua Experimental School 🏫. Our students were warmly hosted by their buddies, toured the school, and even joined real classroom lessons—experiencing student life in Beijing firsthand!

Beyond technology and school life, students stepped back in time at the majestic Forbidden City 🏯, marvelled at the architectural beauty of the Temple of Heaven, and conquered the breathtaking Great Wall of China 🧱⛰️. It was a true test of endurance and teamwork!

Every moment was filled with curiosity, friendship, and discovery 🌟. What an amazing adventure!

经遴选的五年级学生展开了为期五天的北京学习之旅 ✈️🇨🇳，在课堂之外收获了满满的知识与精彩体验！

同学们首先参观了中国汽车工程协会 🚗，了解汽车工业如何结合创新科技不断发展，开拓未来。

接着，我们走进了商汤科技 🤖✨，近距离接触人工智能世界，感受 AI 技术如何改变我们的生活与未来。

最难忘的体验之一，是与北京市建华实验学校的交流活动 🏫。同学们受到了当地学生的热情接待，参观校园，并走进真实课堂一起学习，亲身体验北京学生的校园生活。

除了科技与学习之旅，同学们也走进历史，参观雄伟壮丽的故宫 🏯，欣赏庄严宏伟的天坛，并亲自攀登雄伟的中国长城 🧱⛰️，挑战自我、收获成长！

这次旅程充满欢笑、友谊与探索精神 🌟，是一段难以忘怀的精彩回忆！

一年一度的母语文化周已圆满落幕。🎊 在5月11日至5月22日的两周时间里，学生们通过一系列生动有趣的活动，对新加坡华族五大籍贯的方言文化有了初步而深入的认识。

活动期间，一、二及六年级的学生在课堂上领略了不同籍贯的特色美食、语言表达及传统歌谣，在轻松愉快的氛围中领略了华族文化的魅力，并激发了浓厚的学习兴趣。此外，全校师生于5月15日共同欣赏了精彩纷呈的相声表演；5月18日的休息时段，校园内更是热闹非凡，学生们踊跃参与了“文化食堂”精心设置的游戏摊位。

通过这短短两周的沉浸式体验，学生们不仅拓宽了文化视野，深刻体会到了新加坡华人社会“多元一体”的独特性，更在欢笑与互动中，将这份宝贵的文化记忆深植于心。💖

母语文化周虽已结束，但文化传承的脚步从未停歇。希望通过这次活动，能点燃学生们心中那把守护方言根脉的火种，让华族优良传统在年轻一代的手中薪火相传，生生不息。🔥

Our Primary 5 Hanoi Overseas Student Leadership Trip was a meaningful and unforgettable journey filled with learning, cultural exchange, and memorable experiences. ✨

Students visited Ba Vi Homestead, where they caught fish and planted young rice shoots in the paddy fields, gaining a deeper appreciation for nature and rural life. They also visited the Vietnam Singapore Corporation Centre to learn more about Vietnamese culture, leadership skills, and the centre's purpose.

A highlight of the immersion programme was the interaction our students had with peers from ISPH & Hanoi Star. Despite language and cultural differences, meaningful friendships were formed. Students also enjoyed the musical Matilda, making the experience even more special.

Another enriching stop was Zo Paper, where students learnt about the history and culture of traditional Vietnamese paper-making. They attended an art workshop to create handmade paper from pulps and decorated their own unique pieces creatively.

Students also had the opportunity to watch a traditional Vietnamese Water Puppet Show, which was a unique cultural performance that showcased Vietnamese folklore, daily life, and traditions through puppetry and live music. It was an eye-opening and enjoyable experience for everyone.

One of the most inspiring visits was to Kymviet, a social enterprise run by persons with disabilities. Students learnt to stuff soft toys and even picked up simple sign language.

This trip allowed our students to step out of their comfort zones, embrace new experiences, and grow in resilience, empathy, leadership, and cultural appreciation. Truly a memorable journey for our Pei Chun students! 💕

🚀 Empowering Our P5 Creators! 🤖

Our Primary 5 students are embracing the future with the “Machine Learning with AI” enrichment programme! In this interactive workshop, they are transforming from technology users into creators by training their own AI models using mBlock and Scratch.

Pupils learn to recognise shapes and differentiate between cats and dogs, while cultivating essential 21st-century skills such as critical thinking and creativity. This initiative underscores our dedication to delivering a quality, holistic school experience for our engaged pupils, ensuring they are future-ready! 🌟

Our Primary 4 students had an exciting time at their Oratorical Basic Techniques Training (Chinese Language) 2026! ✨

Through this engaging programme, students gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture by diving into traditional Chinese performing arts. ✨ They practiced tongue twisters and tried their hand at kuaiban, 🎭 while acquiring basic skills such as breathing techniques, tone control, and rhythm. 🎶

The energy in the classroom was amazing, with students feeling excited and actively participating in every practice, showing great enthusiasm and confidence. 💪😄

To wrap up the experience, each class selected their best-performing group to give a live performance in the canteen. 🎉 It was a wonderful opportunity to share their learning and spark a deeper appreciation for traditional Chinese performing arts. ❤️

本次活动旨在让学生通过接触中华传统表演艺术，进一步了解中华文化✨。在活动过程中，学生学习了念绕口令和打快板🎭，并初步掌握呼吸、声调及节奏等基本技巧🎶。课堂的气氛热烈，学生们兴奋不已，积极投入每一项练习，勇于尝试与表现💪😄。通过不断的实践与互动，学生不仅提升了语言表达能力，也增强了对传统艺术的兴趣与欣赏能力🌟。

活动最后，学生运用所学技巧，以快板形式在课室前呈现绕口令表演👏，展现了学习成果并提升自信心😊。课程结束后，各班选出表现最优秀的小组，在食堂进行公开表演🎉，让更多学生欣赏他们的精彩演出，进一步激发他们对中华传统艺术的热爱❤️。

We commemorated International Friendship Day with a vibrant celebration! Our morning assembly featured P6 students sharing highlights from their enriching visit to Hanoi in late 2025.

In the hall assembly, students learned about the significance of International Friendship Day and welcomed Timor-Leste as ASEAN’s newest member. The spotlight then turned to the Philippines, with an engaging presentation followed by a lively tinikling performance by our PAM leaders.

The celebration concluded with a heartwarming community sing-along of “Count On Me,” specially adapted to include phrases from various ASEAN languages—symbolising unity in diversity.

A meaningful day of learning, sharing, and strengthening friendships across borders!

在周会上，学生们了解了国际友谊日的意义，也对东南亚国家联盟的新成员，东帝汶，有了更深一步的认识。随后，学生领袖通过演讲的方式，介绍了菲律宾这个国家，也带来了一场热闹的竹竿表演。

庆祝活动在温馨的集体合唱《Count On Me》中落下帷幕。这首歌经过特别改编，融入了东盟各国语言的歌词，象征着多元一体。

希望孩子们通过这次的活动，能更深入了解不同国家的文化与知识，在多元文化的交汇中开阔视野，感受世界的缤纷与美好。

🎭✨ P2 Theatre Learning Journey ✨🎭

Our Primary 2 students had an exciting and enriching theatre experience as they watched a live production of Jack and the Beanstalk in a black box theatre. 🌱🏰 Students were captivated by the engaging characters 🎭 and creative storytelling, which brought a fresh perspective to this classic tale.

Beyond the performance, students also participated in an interactive Q&A session with the cast, where they gained insights into the performance and learnt more about what goes on behind the scenes in putting a production together. 🎤✨

To top it off, students took part in a fun and hands-on drama workshop, where they explored movement, expression, and teamwork; truly stepping into the shoes of performers and trying out their acting chops! 🎬🕺

We hope this experience has sparked a deeper appreciation for the performing arts and inspired our young learners to express themselves with confidence! 🎟️🌈✨

We were so excited to welcome students from Cornell Bilingual School in Taiwan to our school! ✨

For two days, the visiting students joined our students in class, learning side by side and sharing many joyful moments together. During recess, they ate, chatted, and quickly bonded over snacks and laughter.

It was amazing to see students from different cultures connecting and learning more about one another's lives. Such a meaningful experience—and definitely the start of many new friendships! 💛🌍

在为期两天的交流中，来访的同学和我校的同学一起上课、一起学习，度过了许多欢乐的时光。课间休息时，大家一边吃东西，一边聊天，在轻松愉快的氛围中很快就打成一片。

🏅 Pei Chun Prize Giving Day 2026 (P1 to P5, 2025 cohort)✨

On the last day of Term 1 2026, our Pei Chun family gathered with full hearts for a celebration that was so much more than a ceremony.

In a world that moves quickly and pulls us in so many directions, that day was a precious reminder to pause, to be present, and to truly reconnect with one another, with our values, and with what matters most.

Our theme, 有你真好 — Re-connecting with You, captured it beautifully. Because Prize Giving Day is not only about recognising achievements. It is about honouring the relationships that made those achievements possible — the teachers who believed, the families who supported, and the friends who journeyed together.

We celebrated our students' academic progress, exemplary conduct and outstanding CCA contributions, recognising achievements across the key pillars of holistic development. Our student performers lit up the room, reminding us of the incredible heart and talent that lives within our Pei Chun family. 🎶🎭

To our families and distinguished guests — thank you for pausing your busy lives to be here. Your presence meant the world to our students. 🙏

And to every student, award recipient or not, we see you and celebrate you. Your growth, your kindness, your willingness to keep trying — that is what Pei Chun is made of.
