Over 800 residents participated in the Paya Lebar Community Resilience Day at Kovan Hub on 13 July 2024. This event was jointly organised by Paya Lebar C2E and SCDF with the support of LTA, NEA, SPF, NFEC, CNB, SDO, SHF and Singapore Red Cross (SRC).

Residents had the opportunity to engage in various EP activities including learning about CPR-AED, techniques of improvised first aid skills (IFAS) plus, how to use a fire extinguisher, scam and drug awareness, dengue prevention and sharing on blood donations.

Children were entertained with both puppet show and magic show as well as fringe activities such as nagomi and shrink art. There was also a vehicle display from SCDF, SPF and Caring Fleet where participants experienced not only what these emergency vehicles were all about but also had hands-on experience on some of the equipment used by SCDF.

The event was graced by GRA Mr Alex Yeo Sheng Chye.l

Lifesaving skills such as applying Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and Improvised First Aid Skills.

Another eventful and educational Safety & Security Day was successfully organised by Kovan NC and Paya Lebar C2E @ Kovan Regency on 22 June 2024. Joined by GRA Alex Yeo Sheng Chye , over 150 condo residents proactively came down and participated in the various activities thanks to the support from the various agencies from SPF, SCDF, NEA and SG Digital Office.

To foster an , the SCDF conducted firefighting demonstrations and provided residents with a rare hands-on experience using fire extinguishers. Not only that, residents also learned and practiced CPR and AED techniques on mannequins

Children and the young at heart had their eyes engrossed on an interactive fire prevention-themed puppet show! The event ended on a high note, and we hope that emergency preparedness knowledge will be the most valuable takeaway for all! Together, we can achieve an .

On the 25th of May, we held our Safety & Security Day at Kovan Residences! 🚨

Special thanks to SPF, SCDF, NEA, & IMDA for being a part of this event! 🤩 During the event, crucial skills and knowledge were taught, such as:
- Fire safety 🔥
- Use of fire extinguishers 🧯
- Dengue prevention 🦟
- Crime prevention 🚫
- Personal safety 🙋🏻‍♀️

Our residents were able to participate in interactive booths and demonstrations, accompanied with a carnival atmosphere to make learning fun for everyone!
