“I’ve always learnt best by doing, so choosing Diploma in Business & Financial Technology via EAE was the perfect way to turn my interest in Python into a practical career. Transitioning from O‑level to a diploma which was a blend of finance and computing was a huge shift, but the constant support from my lecturers made it a smooth ride. My internship really pushed me to step up and solve real‑world problems that went beyond our textbooks, giving me the confidence to bridge the gap between classroom theory and industry needs. I am grateful for the hands‑on foundation and proactive mindset I built during my three years here.”

"Choosing my path early was the best move I ever made. I prioritized technical mastery over exam scores, giving me the freedom to build a high-level AI portfolio early. I've demonstrated professional skills and agility by delivering mission-critical solutions through multiple concurrent internships and competitions. This early start was the ultimate launchpad, allowing me to hit the ground running with a clear focus on my future.”

We were honoured to host Ms Jasmin Lau 刘洁敏 , Minister of State for Digital Development and Information & Education in our school! 2 of our budding entrepreneurs, Yu Xiang Teo and Yi Jiaxin, shared their startup solutions with her.
Yu Xiang developed an IT solution to transform the current manual and fragmented procurement processes in the motorcycle parts industry into searchable and scalable digital workflows for local SMEs. While Jiaxin came up with an innovative farm autonomy solution using robotics and AI to reduce pest and disease spread, enhance food security, lower costs, and deliver actionable insights for sustainable farming.
A shoutout to our industry partner, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) for co-creation of AI Enablement Programme that facilitated these innovative projects.

“Choosing NYP via EAE gave me a head start in IT, focusing on practical and industry‑driven skills. Through the CSIT‑Nanyang Scholarship, I earned professional certifications that are highly in demand, while a semester in South Korea added a global perspective to my training. My journey peaked with ArchAIve, a school project that we commercialised into an AI startup with the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. SIT provided the perfect environment to gain both technical credentials and the technopreneurial experience we needed.”
