We were privileged to host Hon. Warren Kaeding, Saskatchewan Minister of Trade and Export Development, and Ms Jodi Banks, Deputy Minister of Trade and Export Development, during their visit to Singapore last week. is an important partner to us; the pulse crops grown in Saskatchewan are peas, lentils, chickpeas, faba beans, etc. Canada is also the world's leading lentil, pea, and chickpea exporter. Saskatchewan growers produce 90% of the Canadian lentil crop, 50% of Canadian peas, and 95% of Canadian chickpeas. That is why we have three of our ten agri-processing facilities in Saskatchewan. By being close to the farmers, we are able to get agri-supplies promptly post harvest, and also do the important work in providing agri-staples efficiently from countries that grow them, to communities around the world that need them.

Celebrating the Year of the Snake with Energy, Prosperity, and Cultural Appreciation! 🐍🎊
As a culturally diverse organization, we take pride in celebrating traditions from around the world and fostering a workplace where every culture is valued and respected.
We celebrated the last day of Chinese New Year with the Lion Dance, an age-old custom believed to bring good luck, ward off negative energy, and welcome prosperity for the year ahead. The rhythmic drumming, energetic movements, and dazzling colors not only entertained but also reminded us of the deep cultural significance behind the tradition.
As we step into the new year, we look forward to embracing new opportunities, strengthening connections, and continuing to cultivate a workplace that celebrates diversity in all its forms.
Wishing everyone a year filled with wisdom, resilience, and success— just like the Snake symbolises! 🐍✨

🌍🌱 Celebrating World Pulses Day! 🌱🌍
As one of the leading in the world, it is a joy to come together as a team to celebrate on 10 February. The celebrations started with knowledge sharing by Head of Pulses, Nathan, who touched on the incredible contributions by these tiny but mighty heroes to sustain our environment while being a nutrition powerhouse. Then it is off to a Kahoot session where everyone had fun answering quiz questions on what they have learnt about pulses. There were many fun facts about pulses that were new to the team and it was good to observe the engagement and active participation.
We continued on with of work anniversaries, and to team members who have gone the extra mile to make a positive impact to the organisation. Then, we rounded off the session with a birthday cake for February babies, plus a healthy and sustainable lunch with pulses taking centre stage.
Summing up the power of pulses— not just as a staple food but as a sustainable solution for food security, nutrition, and climate resilience.

Our chairman, Vijay Iyengar, and CEO, Vishal Vijay, were invited to Sumiko Tan recently and the conversation over lunch at HOUSE OF ANLI (Pano Kato) was witty and fun, nostalgic, yet forward looking.
Some relatively 'unknown' snippets from the article which was published in The Straits Times 👇
🟢 Agrocorp started with a team of five in a windowless office in Aldephi in 1990 and grew to become a global agri-commodity company in about three decades.
🟢 Growth was guided by "either we should know the geography or we should know the commodity".
🟢 The motto of founder, Vijay Iyengar, being inspired by the ACS , "The best is yet to be."
and more.
