Global demonstrations against Police brutality and oppression should send a clear message to the Sierra Leone Police that a time will soon come when the People will say enough is enough. For far too long the Sierra Leone Police is kneeing the neck of the opposition and we cannot breathe.
Unlawful arrests and detention, intimidation, killings and politically motivated charges are the many ways the Sierra Leone Police is kneeing the neck of the opposition and we cannot breathe.
How I wish our opposition Members of Parliament, our elected Mayors, Chairpersons and local councilors would take the lead in telling the Sierra Leone Police that enough is enough in the same manner as the world is speaking out loud against Police brutality and oppression.
But the question whether the Sierra Leone Police is a force for good or a power of oppression has been asked.
Join me in this debate as I share the experience of the opposition All Peoples Congress (APC) and my own personal experience in proving that the Sierra Leone Police is not a force for good but a power of oppression and to send a clear message to the Sierra Leone Police that enough is enough; stop kneeing the neck of the opposition; We Can't Breathe!!!
