Over the past two days, alongside His Excellency Minister Diouf, we didn’t just mark the end of a project. We celebrated a partnership, a collective commitment, and—most importantly—tangible results for communities.
Canada is proud to have funded this multi-country initiative with $15M over 3 years. Our commitment remains strong: supporting approaches that put communities at the heart of solutions, value local resources, and help build a more resilient and sustainable future. 🌍✨

🇨🇦🤝🇸🇳 Canadian Cybersecurity Trade Mission to Senegal | Mission commerciale canadienne en cybersécurité au Sénégal
This week, six Canadian companies joined us in Dakar for an intensive week of business meetings, workshops, and exchanges with public and private sector stakeholders, marking a concrete step forward in Canada-Senegal digital partnerships.
A key takeaway: our strengths are different, but deeply complementary. Canada brings innovation, research, and cutting-edge solutions. Senegal brings ambition, momentum, and a clear commitment to digital sovereignty.
This mission aligns with Canada’s Africa Strategy, supporting equitable and sustainable economic partnerships and contributing to a more resilient Senegal in line with Vision Sénégal 2050 and the New Deal Technologique.
Thank you to our partners: the Ministry of Communication, Telecommunications and the Digital Economy, DCSSI, Sénégal Numérique S.A., Synapsys, and OPTIC and to the Canadian companies for their expertise and professionalism
