The Civil Society Organizations of the Republic of Somaliland strongly condemn the excessive extension granted to the House of Representatives and Local Councils for 27 months, an unprecedented action in the country, taken despite there being an opportunity to hold elections in accordance with the law and the timetable established by the Electoral Commission.
