2. Background:
Authorized representatives of eighteen (18) established companies in various fields met in Dubai, UAE on October 12nd, 2012. These representatives observed that the shortage of water supply and the lack of expertise in water management presented a serious challenge to citizens in our region. As a way to address these problems, these participants of the meeting unanimously agreed on the following:-
To start a new business that drills boreholes, manages infrastructures and water distribution systems and provides full technical support to other businesses in the country. Participants agreed to be the general assembly members & shareholders of the new newly formed company called Nugaal Inc. Named an executive team to lead Nugaal Inc. Again, a meeting of general assembly took place in Lasanod on April 15 – 17, 2013. The General Assembly approved the adoption of the business plan and appointed the Board of Directors to lead Nugaal Inc. for two years.

Nugaal Inc. is a domestic privately owned shareholders corporation established in 2013 at Lasanod, and legally organized under the laws of Somalia.
