Central Equatoria State MPs attend induction training
A comprehensive three-day induction training workshop for Central Equatoria State lawmakers, jointly organized by the National Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in partnership with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), is currently underway in the capital city of Juba.

The Hon Mary Nawai Martin today opened the 9th Parliamentary training to members of Parliament in Central Equatoria State. Training members of Parliament across the 10 states of South Sudan is a key mandate of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs. The Minister was joined by H.E Emmanuel Adil, Office of the Governor-Central Equatoria State and the head of UNDP South Sudan . Key among the dignitaries was the Hon Kutiyote James , the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
Opening the 3-day induction training, the Hon Nawai requested the governor to allow members of the executive appear before Parliament for questioning. Together for a better South Sudan

WOMEN'S LEADERSHIP AND POLITICAL PARTICIPATION DURING SOUTH SUDAN'S TRANSITIONAL PERIOD. Hon Mary Nawai Martin Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs Office of the Minister graced the occasion as the guest of honor. The Minister called upon leaders to support young women aspiring to join politics. The project is aimed at raising awareness and empowering female leaders in politics.
