We regret to inform the general public, the people of Central Equatoria State and employees of State Ministry of Finance, Planning and Investment, CES in particular, that our colleague Philip Pitya Victor Kose had passed on last Friday 20th June 2025 after a short illness.
May the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.
Funeral is taking place at the family residence at Munuki block C near Upper Nile University.
Burial will take place shortly

Today the 26th April 2024, the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Investment, Central Equatoria State organize a one day workshop in Crown Hotel, for State Local Revenue Performance, Challenges and way-forward to prepare for FY2024/2025 Budget Preparation.

1. To deliver a credible budget through an effective budget control framework that ensures that the Ministry has aggregate fiscal control and ensures predictability while gradually transferring responsibility and accountability of budget ex*****on to spending agencies.
2. Ensure sustainable management of State revenues, (mobilization of tax and non-tax revenues and aid resources), which are allocated and spent in an equitable, efficient and transparent manner, in line with the State Vision.......

This policy framework covers issues of finance and economic development of Central Equatoria State (CES) in line with the Interim constitution of the Republic of South Sudan and the Transitional Constitution of CES. It is important to note that Public Financial Management (PFM) is an essential part of the development process. Sound PFM supports aggregate control, priotization, accountability and efficiency in the management of the public resources and delivery of services, which are critical to the achievement of public policy objectives, including achievement of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)......

Employees of CES will start to receive salary for the month of May 2015 tomorrow 4th June 2015.
