2026 AWARD CEREMONY
Across all the 5 skills areas namely Cooking, Fashion Technology, Welding Technology, Automobile Technology and Electrical Installation, the awarding of winners was as follows:
First Prizes - Awarded by Hon. Owen Nxumalo, Minister of Education and Training
Second Prizes - His Excellency Jeremy Liang, Ambassador (Republic of China, Taiwan)
Third Prizes - Mr. Lwazi Mamba, CEO (Eswatini National Youth Council)

It's has been a wonderful experience observing the WorldSkills South Africa competitions from opening ceremony until today's closing ceremony.

In the spirit of WorldSkills Africa; continental benchmarking, exchanges of best practices, harmonization of skills development initiatives and strengthening collaborations among member countries is highly encouraged.
Eswatini Fashion Technology expert Nompendulo Mbingo had been absorbed as one of the Provincial Experts and had been involved in all judging/marking exercises. They had worked till late at night and also today morning.
Tonight at 6pm; its the closing ceremony and WorldSkills South Africa will announce winners who will represent the Republic at the WorldSkills International Shanghai 2026 Competitions on September 2026

On the second day of the WorldSkills South Africa competitions; we took a brief pause to wish our lone competitor a Happy Birthday day.
Happy Birthday Thuba; cintinue to grow in knowledge and inspire other young women to advance their skills.
