Eswatini national PV center is conducting a one week workshop (May 23-27/2022) to review annual work plan, develop the National PV guideline and review PV tools in collaboration with PAVIA and key PV stakeholders. The team is also working on various publications.

For the last four years, Eleni Aklillu and Abbie Barry have been leading PROFORMA, an international project to strengthen pharmacovigilance capacity in East Africa. We recently welcomed them to the Drug Safety Matters studio to discuss the unique challenges faced by African countries in establishing robust safety monitoring systems – and the important contributions they made so far.
