Programmes under assessment include the Primary Teachers Diploma and Early Childhood Education, among others.

The Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) has officially conferred an honorary Doctor of Philosophy in Science (Kinesiology and Coaching Science) degree on football legend Theophilus "Doctor" Khumalo. The prestigious recognition honours his contribution to South African football.
