The Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA) recently undertook a business mission to Mozambique aimed at expanding investor outreach, promoting the upcoming Eswatini Investment Conference, and marketing the Royal Signature Raffle Draw.

The mission commenced with participation in the Mozambique–EU Business Forum, held on 9–10 June 2026 at the Montebelo Indy Congress Hotel in Maputo. This was followed by a series of strategic business-to-business (B2B) engagements with representatives from the Polish Chamber of Commerce and other key stakeholders.

These engagements provided valuable insights into the interests of European companies already operating in Africa, as well as those exploring opportunities to establish a presence on the continent.

As a direct outcome of the mission, EIPA held productive discussions with Bart Food and Pharma, Waste Trade Centre, the Centre for International Relations- Polish Think Thank, and the President of the Chamber of Commerce. The Polish Chamber is now considering organizing a business mission to Eswatini and another African country in 2027.

In addition, representatives from the Waste Trade Centre and the Think Thank are expected to visit Eswatini on 12 June 2026 to explore potential investment opportunities.

EIPA remains committed to positioning Eswatini as a competitive investment destination and strengthening international partnerships that drive sustainable economic growth and job creation.
