Meet Trevor Masuku, a qualified Health care Practitioner. He serves as SADC Youth Parliamentarian representing eSwatini and also the Chairperson for Natural Resources Governance, Agriculture, Environment and Climate Change Standing Committee in SADC Youth Parliament, He also represent Mayiwane Inkhundla as a Youth Mindset Trainer in partnership with Eswatini National Youth Council. He has been involved in many Youth activities including Enactus where he was a Human Resource Manager for Enactus Good Shepherd Catholic College of Health Sciences Club. He is from Matibe, Mayiwane. He is a Youth leader that worship and fear God.

He called for African and European leaders to have a collective goal to create and enabling environment one that guarantees access to quality education, promote entrepreneurship, and foster social inclusion. His message was directed to all delegates that all borders, sectors, and communities must commit and work collaboratively to build a more inclusive prosperus and resilent Africa.

2 days to go ...Hon Trevor Masuku will be attending the SADC Youth Parliament Standing Committee session this Saturday in preparation for the 2nd SADC Youth Parliament sitting. Besides representing ESwatini , he also serves as Chairperson for Natural Resources Governance, Agriculture, Climate Change and Environment Standing Committee in the Parliament.

Last year Masuku delivered a powerful submission in the SADC Youth parliament house pleading SADC to review Youth policies and create opportunities for the Youth within the SADC region.

🌍 The ECSA Regional Youth Summit officially kicks off today!

The ECSA Youth Summit officially begins today, bringing together young leaders, policymakers, and partners from across East, Central and Southern Africa to advance dialogue and action on sexual and reproductive health and unlocking Africa’s demographic dividend.

Officially opening the Summit, the Guest of Honour, Hon. Bongani Nzima (MP), Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Kingdom of Eswatini, underscored the urgency of investing in young people:

“Africa’s demographic dividend is not automatic. It requires deliberate, sustained investment in young people particularly in sexual and reproductive health, education, and life skills so that this opportunity becomes a driver of growth, not a burden.”

In his welcoming remarks, Dr. Ntuli Kapologwe, the Director General of ECSA-HC, emphasized the central role of youth leadership in shaping the region’s future:

“You are not just the future of Africa you are the present. Unlocking the demographic dividend begins with protecting young people’s health, rights, and voices, and ensuring they are partners in decision-making and implementation.”

As discussions begin, the Summit sets the tone for bold dialogue, regional collaboration, and concrete commitments placing young people at the center of Africa’s health and development agenda.

Congratulations Trevor Masuku . He has been selected for the Youth Mindset Change Programe ESwatini. This program will be conducted in community sessions all over ESwatini.

Trevor Masuku was at Gege, Shiselweni region, ESwatini, celebrating the International Youth Day with the Youth of ESwatini. The International Youth Day was graced by The presence of Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Member of Parliament and ESwatini Government officials.
