🌈⛅️ The team was up bright and early on April 18th, 2026 proudly supporting the annual Rainbow Walk for Autism Awareness here in the Turks and Caicos Islands, which concluded with a celebration at the S.N.A.P Centre.
Led by Special Education Needs Services (SENS), the Rainbow Walk continues to be a powerful movement promoting autism acceptance and inclusion. We saw an incredible turnout of roughly 500 participants this year!
We also spotted strong support from national leaders, including H.E. Governor Dileeni Daniel-Selvaratnam, H.E. Deputy Governor Anya Williams, Deputy Premier Hon. Jamell Robinson, and Minister of Education Hon. Rachel Taylor, along with officers from the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force.
Thank you to the dedicated S.N.A.P team and all supporters for creating such a meaningful and impactful experience. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

✨👩🏽⚕️ We were happy to welcome Nurse Elaine Clare back to the office as part of our 2026 BMI Challenge. Today, the Providenciales team had their measurements taken to track their progress since the start of the competition. The Grand Turk team also had their measurements recorded this week.
Positive changes are already happening beyond the check-ins too! Our team members are embracing healthier eating habits, with lunches now featuring grilled chicken, sweet potatoes, quinoa, and fresh vegetables. 🥗
“It brings me joy to see people aiming towards a healthier lifestyle,” Nurse Clare shared.
Originally introduced in 2025 as part of our observance of World Health Day, the BMI Challenge began with 11 participants. This year, we’ve grown to 20 team members, including Human Resources Manager, Keva Forbes who is leading this initiative. She said “At Ports Authority TCI, we remain committed to promoting wellness—not just for our team members, but for their families and the wider community.”
The programme is designed to provide a realistic and supportive pathway for individuals of all body types to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Based on feedback from last year, it's now more inclusive by recognizing that everyone’s fitness journey is different. Participants have access to a wider range of resources tailored to varying needs and abilities.
🎒 Everyone received a Fitness Canvas Tote filled with tools such as workout guides, yoga posters, portion control plates, and wellness journals to support their journey. Who will be this year’s winners? Stay in the know by following us as we continue this journey toward healthier lifestyles. 💙

✨⚓️ This month, we shine a light on Mr. Marvin Seymour, our Supply Chain Optimization Officer and proud South Caicos native. With nearly a decade at PATCI, Marvin is instrumental in keeping operations running efficiently like monitoring monthly KPIs or leading coordination with mechanics and supervisors to ensure equipment and manpower meet organizational standards. He also plays a role in overseeing the flow of night operations.
“One of the reasons I love working with the Ports Authority is that the organization recognizes and rewards your skills and professionalism. There are always opportunities for growth so I’m always encouraging others to join PATCI,” he shared.
The most rewarding part of his role is ensuring that customers’ containers arrive safely and on time. 🛥️
Marvin is also passionate about inspiring young Turks and Caicos Islanders to pursue meaningful careers. His message is simple, which is to stay committed to your dreams and believe in your potential.
“Persistence is key when it comes to achieving your goals—no matter how far-fetched they may seem.”
