วันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม ของทุกปี ถือเป็นวันเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าโลก กำหนดขึ้นเพื่อรำลึกถึงเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าที่เสียชีวิตหรือบาดเจ็บระหว่างปฏิบัติหน้าที่ และยกย่องการปฏิบัติงานของเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าที่ช่วยปกป้องคุ้มครองสมบัติทางธรรมชาติและวัฒนธรรมของโลก

วันเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าโลกถูกกำหนดขึ้นครั้งแรกเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2550 ในโอกาสครบรอบ 15 ปีของการก่อตั้ง สหพันธ์ผู้พิทักษ์ป่าระหว่างประเทศ หรือ International Ranger Federation (IRF)

World Ranger Day is celebrated worldwide on July 31st to commemorate Rangers killed or injured in the line of duty and to celebrate the work Rangers do to protect the planet’s natural treasures and cultural heritage.
The first World Ranger Day was observed in 2007 on the 15th anniversary of the founding of the International Ranger Federation (IRF).

There is no denying that Thailand is indeed a paradise for biodiversity. 🌳

The country is home to Khao Sok National Park, its seventh ASEAN Heritage Park. Khao Sok boasts the largest virgin forest area in the south of Thailand, with a rich natural heritage and biodiversity that rivals the Amazon rainforest. The park also features towering limestone karst formations and Cheow Lan Lake, a man-made lake.
