เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2569 นางศิริลักษณ์ นิยม รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และนาย Mikael Lindvall อธิบดีกรมกิจการโลก กระทรวงการต่างประเทศสวีเดน เป็นประธานร่วมในการประชุม Joint Cooperation Committee ครั้งแรก ภายใต้ความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ไทย - สวีเดน โดยมีผู้แทนหน่วยงานของทั้งสองประเทศ อาทิ กระทรวงกลาโหม กองทัพอากาศ สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการรักษาความมั่นคงปลอดภัยไซเบอร์แห่งชาติ กระทรวงยุติธรรมสวีเดน Business Sweden เข้าร่วม

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือแนวทางขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือในสาขาที่ระบุในเอกสารความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ไทย - สวีเดน อาทิ กลาโหม ความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์ การปราบปรามอาชญากรรมออนไลน์และอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ รวมถึงทบทวนความสัมพันธ์ทวิภาคีและความร่วมมือในสาขาศักยภาพ อาทิ นวัตกรรม startups การจัดการป่าไม้อย่างยั่งยืน และการเปลี่ยนผ่านพลังงานสีเขียว ทั้งยังหารือการขยายโอกาสการค้าและการลงทุน การเร่งรัดการเจรจาความตกลงการค้าเสรีไทย - สหภาพยุโรป การสนับสนุนของสวีเดนในการเข้าเป็นสมาชิกองค์การเพื่อความร่วมมือทางเศรษฐกิจและการพัฒนา (OECD) ของไทย และการยกเว้นการตรวจลงตราเข้าสู่เขตเชงเกนของหนังสือเดินทางธรรมดาของไทย ตลอดจนแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองในประเด็นความร่วมมือพหุภาคี ความท้าทายของภูมิรัฐศาสตร์โลกในปัจจุบัน และสถานการณ์ในระดับโลกและภูมิภาค

ไทยและสวีเดนยกระดับความสัมพันธ์เป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์อย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อเดือนสิงหาคม 2568 และจัดตั้งคณะกรรมการความร่วมมือ (Joint Cooperation Committee: JCC) เป็นกลไกในการติดตามและขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือภายใต้ความเป็นหุ้นส่วนทางยุทธศาสตร์ของทั้งสองประเทศ

On 29 May 2026, Mrs. Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Mikael Lindvall, Head of the Directorate for Global Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, co-chaired the inaugural Thailand - Sweden Joint Cooperation Committee Meeting. In attendance were representatives of agencies from both countries, such as the Ministry of Defence, the Royal Thai Air Force, the Royal Thai Police, the National Cyber Security Agency, the Ministry of Justice of Sweden, and Business Sweden.

Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation in areas indicated in the Thailand - Sweden Strategic Partnership, such as defence, cybersecurity, combatting online scams and transnational crime. They reviewed bilateral cooperation in key areas such as innovation, startups, sustainable forestry, and green energy. They also discussed avenues to expand trade and investment, including the timely conclusion of Thailand - EU FTA negotiations, Sweden’s support for Thailand’s accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), and the waiver of visas for Thai ordinary passport holders entering the Schengen area. Both sides exchanged views on multilateral cooperation, challenges in the current geopolitical landscape, and global and regional issues.

Thailand and Sweden officially elevated bilateral relations to a strategic partnership in August 2025. The Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) was established to follow up and support cooperation under the strategic partnership.

กิจกรรมดังกล่าวจัดขึ้นเป็นประจำทุกปีโดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตไทย ณ กรุงสตอกโฮล์ม และสถานเอกอัครราชทูตสวีเดนประจำประเทศไทย สลับกันเป็นเจ้าภาพ เพื่อเป็นเวทีในการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และแนวปฏิบัติที่ดี รวมทั้งส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนอย่างเป็นรูปธรรมระหว่างไทยกับสวีเดน

ในปีนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตสวีเดนประจำประเทศไทยเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดเวทีเสวนาในหัวข้อ “การบรรลุเป้าหมายการมีส่วนร่วมที่ประเทศกำหนดฉบับปรับปรุงด้วยความร่วมมือ” โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมจากภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และประชาชนกว่า 100 คน

On 29 May 2026, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, delivered opening remarks at the 6th Sweden - Thailand Sustainable Development Forum 2026, held at the Westin Grande Sukhumvit Hotel, Bangkok.

The forum is an annual event hosted alternately by the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm and the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok. It serves as a platform for exchanging knowledge and best practices, as well as for advancing concrete cooperation in sustainable development between Thailand and Sweden.

This year, the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok hosted the forum under the theme “Achieving the Updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) through Collaboration.” The event attracted more than 100 participants from the government and private sectors, academia, and the general public.

เมื่อวันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายวิชาวัฒน์ อิศรภักดี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ กล่าวเปิดการประชุม OSCE 2026 Asian Conference ภายใต้หัวข้อ “Countering Transnational Threats in the Digital Era through Enhanced Co-operation in Asia and the OSCE Region” ซึ่งไทยและฟินแลนด์เป็นเจ้าภาพร่วมจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 28 - 29 พฤษภาคม 2569 ที่กรุงเทพฯ โดยมีผู้แทนจากประเทศผู้เข้าร่วมองค์การว่าด้วยความมั่นคงและความร่วมมือในยุโรป (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe: OSCE) และประเทศหุ้นส่วนเพื่อความร่วมมือฝ่ายเอเชีย (รวมไทย) กว่า 150 คน จาก 36 ประเทศ/องค์กร เข้าร่วม เพื่อหารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ ประสบการณ์ และแนวปฏิบัติที่เป็นเลิศระหว่างกัน โดยเน้นการรับมือกับภัยคุกคามข้ามชาติในยุคดิจิทัล

ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีฯ ย้ำถึงภูมิทัศน์ด้านภูมิรัฐศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีที่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างรวดเร็ว ส่งผลให้ภัยคุกคามข้ามชาติในยุคดิจิทัลมีความซับซ้อนและเชื่อมโยงกันมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งด้านความมั่นคงทางไซเบอร์ อาชญากรรมออนไลน์ การบิดเบือนข้อมูล ตลอดจนผลกระทบต่อความมั่นคงของมนุษย์ พลังงาน อาหาร และเศรษฐกิจ จึงจำเป็นต้องอาศัยความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศและภูมิภาคที่ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น โดยไทยในฐานะประเทศหุ้นส่วนเพื่อความร่วมมือฝ่ายเอเชียเพียงประเทศเดียวจากอาเซียน ยืนยันความมุ่งมั่นในการส่งเสริมความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างอาเซียน เอเชีย กับยุโรป เพื่อรับมือความท้าทายร่วมกัน โดยมีเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเวียนนาและหัวหน้าคณะผู้แทนไทยประจำ OSCE และรักษาการอธิบดีกรมยุโรปร่วมกล่าวถ้อยแถลงของประเทศไทย และมีวิทยากร 4 คน จากไทยนำเสนอและร่วมแลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นใน 3 ช่วงการอภิปราย ได้แก่ รองปลัดกระทรวงดิจิทัลเพื่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคม ผู้อำนวยการอาวุโส ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย ผู้แทนไทยในคณะกรรมาธิการระหว่างรัฐบาลอาเซียนว่าด้วยสิทธิมนุษยชน และผู้สื่อข่าวอาวุโส สำนักข่าว Reuters (ประเทศไทย)

เมื่อวันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2569 ผู้เข้าร่วมประชุมรับฟังการบรรยายสรุปและเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานของศูนย์ต่อต้านการฉ้อโกงออนไลน์ (Anti Cyber Scam Center: ACSC) เพื่อศึกษากลไกและแนวทางแบบบูรณาการของไทยในการป้องกันและปราบปราม online scams ซึ่งสะท้อนบทบาทนำของไทยในการรับมือภัยคุกคามข้ามชาติในยุคดิจิทัลอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม ทั้งนี้ ไทยเป็นหนึ่งในห้าประเทศหุ้นส่วนเพื่อความร่วมมือฯ ของ OSCE (ร่วมกับอัฟกานิสถาน ออสเตรเลีย ญี่ปุ่น และเกาหลีใต้) ตั้งแต่ปี 2543 และมีบทบาทที่แข็งขันอย่างต่อเนื่องในฐานะประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนหนึ่งเดียวในกรอบ OSCE ในการเป็นสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างอาเซียน เอเชีย กับยุโรป เพื่อส่งเสริมสันติภาพ ความมั่นคง และความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศอย่างยั่งยืน

On 28 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, delivered opening remarks at the OSCE 2026 Asian Conference under the theme “Countering Transnational Threats in the Digital Era through Enhanced Co-operation in Asia and the OSCE Region,” co-hosted by Thailand and Finland on 28 - 29 May 2026 in Bangkok. In attendance were over 150 representatives from 36 OSCE participating States and Asian Partners for Co-operation. The meeting discussed to promote cooperation and exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices with a focus on addressing transnational threats in the digital era.

The Vice Foreign Minister underscored that today’s rapidly evolving geopolitical and technological landscape has made transnational threats in the digital era increasingly complex and interconnected, ranging from cyber crime to disinformation and broader impacts on human, energy, food and economic security. He stressed the importance of closer international and interregional cooperation in addressing these shared challenges. He also underlined that Thailand is committed to leveraging its role as the only OSCE Partner for Co-operation from ASEAN to help strengthen linkages between ASEAN, Asia and Europe. Ambassador of Thailand to Austria and Head of the Thai Delegation to the OSCE, and Acting Director-General of the Department of European Affairs also delivered Thailand's national statements, while four Thai representatives participated as speakers in all three sessions of the Conference, namely Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society; Senior Director, Bank of Thailand; Thailand’s Representative to the ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR); and Senior Correspondent, Thomson Reuters (Thailand).

On 28 May 2026, participants visited the Anti Cyber Scam Center (ACSC) to learn more about Thailand’s integrated mechanisms and operational approaches in combating online scams, reflecting Thailand’s leading role in addressing transnational threats in a concrete manner. Thailand has been one of the five OSCE Asian Partners for Co-operation (along with Afghanistan, Australia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea) since 2000 and has played an active role as the sole Asian partner from ASEAN in bridging Asia, Europe, and ASEAN in advancing peace, security, and sustainable international cooperation.

เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ พบหารือกับนาง Kelley Anne Eckels-Currie ผู้เสนอรายงานพิเศษภายใต้คณะมนตรีสิทธิมนุษยชนแห่งสหประชาชาติว่าด้วยสถานการณ์สิทธิมนุษยชนในเมียนมา ในโอกาสเยือนไทยเพื่อเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทางวิชาการ

ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในเมียนมา รวมถึงการสนับสนุนการให้ความช่วยเหลือด้านมนุษยธรรมและการแก้ไขปัญหาอาชญากรรมข้ามชาติ โดยรองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ แสดงความพร้อมของไทยที่จะร่วมมือกับผู้เสนอรายงานพิเศษฯ ในประเด็นที่ทั้งสองฝ่ายสนใจร่วมกัน

On 29 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had discussions with Ms. Kelley Anne Eckels-Currie, Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Myanmar, upon the latter’s visit to Thailand to participate in academic activities.

Both sides exchanged views on the situation in Myanmar, including ways to enhance humanitarian assistance and combat transnational organized crime. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed Thailand’s readiness to cooperate with the Special Rapporteur on the issues of mutual interest.

เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2569 นายสีหศักดิ์ พวงเกตุแก้ว รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ พบหารือกับนายฟัยยาซ มูรชิด กาซี เอกอัครราชทูตสาธารณรัฐประชาชนบังกลาเทศประจำประเทศไทย ในโอกาสที่เอกอัครราชทูตฯ จะพ้นจากหน้าที่

รองนายกรัฐมนตรีฯ ขอบคุณเอกอัครราชทูตบังกลาเทศฯ สำหรับความทุ่มเทในการส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย - บังกลาเทศตลอดระยะเวลาการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ในประเทศไทย โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องกับการกระชับความร่วมมือไทย - บังกลาเทศในทุกมิติ และผลักดันการจัดประชุมคณะกรรมาธิการร่วมว่าด้วยความร่วมมือ (Joint Commission Meeting: JC) ไทย - บังกลาเทศ ครั้งที่ 8 รวมทั้งการแลกเปลี่ยนการเยือนระดับสูงในโอกาสครบรอบ 55 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย - บังกลาเทศ ในปี 2570

ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์ในภูมิภาค ซึ่งรวมถึงพัฒนาการในเมียนมา สถานการณ์ชาวโรฮีนจา และสถานการณ์ไทย - กัมพูชา ตลอดจนความร่วมมือพหุภาคีในการต่อต้านอาชญากรรมหลอกลวงทางอินเทอร์เน็ต

On 29 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had discussions with H.E. Mr. Faiyaz Murshid Kazi, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Thailand, upon the latter’s completion of his tour of duty.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed appreciation to Ambassador Kazi for his dedication to deepening Thailand - Bangladesh relations throughout his tenure in Thailand. Both sides agreed to further strengthen Thailand - Bangladesh cooperation across all areas, and push forward the convening of the 8th Joint Commission (JC) Meeting and the exchanges of high-level visits during the upcoming 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Bangladesh in 2027.

Both sides also exchanged views on regional issues, including developments in Myanmar, the Rohingya situation and the Thailand - Cambodia situation, as well as multilateral cooperation in combatting online scams.

เมื่อวันที่ 29 พฤษภาคม 2569 รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศพบหารือกับ ดร. Shashi Tharoor สมาชิกสภาผู้แทนราษฎร และประธานคณะกรรมการด้านกิจการต่างประเทศของรัฐสภาอินเดีย

ทั้งสองฝ่ายหารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านการค้าและการลงทุนในสาขาที่มีศักยภาพ ซึ่งรวมถึงเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล การท่องเที่ยวและบริการ การแปรรูปอาหาร การพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์ และโครงการพัฒนาความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างอินเดียกับภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ทั้งทางบกและทางทะเล โดยเฉพาะโครงการถนนสามฝ่ายอินเดีย - เมียนมา - ไทย (India - Myanmar - Thailand Trilateral Highway Project) และโอกาสการเชื่อมต่อโครงการแลนด์บริดจ์ของไทยกับท่าเรือทางตอนใต้ของอินเดีย ทั้งยังหารือการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือในภูมิภาค ซึ่งรวมถึงความร่วมมืออาเซียน - อินเดีย และความริเริ่มแห่งอ่าวเบงกอลสำหรับความร่วมมือหลากหลายสาขาทางวิชาการและเศรษฐกิจ (BIMSTEC) อีกทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับสถานการณ์สำคัญในภูมิภาค ซึ่งรวมถึงสถานการณ์ในเมียนมาและตะวันออกกลาง

ดร. Shashi Tharoor เป็นหนึ่งในนักการเมืองคนสำคัญของอินเดียและเป็นนักการทูตอาวุโสที่มีประสบการณ์ทำงานในสหประชาชาติเกือบ 30 ปี โดยเคยดำรงตำแหน่งรองเลขาธิการสหประชาชาติ (ปี 2545 – 2550) อดีตรัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศอินเดีย และอดีตรัฐมนตรีช่วยว่าการกระทรวงการพัฒนาทรัพยากรมนุษย์อินเดีย

On 29 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had discussions with Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Member of Parliament and Chairperson of Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs of India.

Both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral trade and investment cooperation in promising sectors, including digital economy, tourism and services, food processing, human resource development, and connectivity between India with Southeast Asia by land and sea with emphasis on the India - Myanmar - Thailand Trilateral Highway Project and opportunities to connect Thailand’s Land Bridge project with ports in Southern India. They explored ways to strengthen regional cooperation, including ASEAN - India partnership and Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC). They also exchanged views on key regional issues, including the situations in Myanmar and the Middle East.

Dr. Shashi Tharoor is one of India’ s prominent political figures and a senior diplomat, with nearly three decades of experience at the United Nations. He served as the UN’s Under-Secretary-General from 2002 - 2007, and has also held office as India’s Minister of State for External Affairs and Minister of State for Human Resource Development.

ทั้งสองฝ่ายแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองเกี่ยวกับประเด็นความมั่นคงและยุทธศาสตร์ระหว่างประเทศและในภูมิภาคยุโรป และอินโด-แปซิฟิก โดยเห็นพ้องถึงความจำเป็นในการเสริมสร้างกลไกพหุภาคีระหว่างประเทศผ่านองค์การระหว่างประเทศและองค์การในระดับภูมิภาค และระเบียบโลกที่อยู่บนพื้นฐานของกฎระเบียบเพื่อแก้ปัญหาความท้าทายข้ามพรมแดน ขณะที่เลขาธิการ OSCE แสดงความชื่นชมไทยในฐานะประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนเดียวที่เป็นประเทศหุ้นส่วนเพื่อความร่วมมือฝ่ายเอเชีย (Asian Partner for Co-operation) ของ OSCE สำหรับบทบาทที่โดดเด่นในการสนับสนุนการหารือระหว่าง OSCE กับภูมิภาคอาเซียน รวมทั้งการขับเคลื่อนการเจรจาและความร่วมมือเรื่องความมั่นคงที่เป็นผลประโยชน์ร่วมของทั้งสองภูมิภาค ซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่จำเป็นยิ่งยวดภายใต้สภาพแวดล้อมระหว่างประเทศที่มีความไม่แน่นอนสูงในปัจจุบัน

OSCE เป็นองค์การด้านความมั่นคงระหว่างภูมิภาคที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก มีประเทศเข้าร่วมจากภูมิภาคยุโรป อเมริกาเหนือ และเอเชียกลางกว่า 57 ประเทศ จัดตั้งขึ้นในช่วงสงครามเย็นเพื่อเสริมสร้างมาตรการความไว้เนื้อเชื่อใจ (Confidence Building Measures : CBMs) ด้านความมั่นคง และเป็นเวทีปรึกษาหารือ หาข้อยุติ ป้องกันและระงับข้อพิพาทและข้อขัดแย้งในยุโรป รวมถึงดูแลความมั่นคงโดยรวมของภูมิภาค โดยมีภารกิจสำคัญใน 3 มิติด้านความมั่นคง ได้แก่ มิติการเมืองและการทหาร มิติเศรษฐกิจและสิ่งแวดล้อม และมิติมนุษย์ ซึ่งไทยเป็นหนึ่งในห้าประเทศหุ้นส่วนเพื่อความร่วมมือฯ (ร่วมกับญี่ปุ่น เกาหลีใต้ ออสเตรเลีย และอัฟกานิสถาน) ตั้งแต่เมื่อปี 2543 (ค.ศ. 2000) และมีบทบาทที่แข็งขันอย่างต่อเนื่องในกรอบ OSCE

On 28 May 2026, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkaew, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had discussions with H.E. Mr. Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Secretary-General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), during the latter’s first visit to Thailand to attend the 2026 OSCE Asian Conference under the theme of “Countering Transnational Threats in the Digital Era Through Enhanced Co-operation in Asia and the OSCE Region,” co-hosted by Thailand and Finland, as a platform for exchanging experiences on approaches to addressing transnational security threats, including combating online scams.

Both sides exchanged views on international and regional security and strategic issues in Europe and the Indo-Pacific, as well as underscored the need to strengthen multilateral mechanisms through international and regional organizations and a rules-based international order in addressing transnational challenges. The OSCE Secretary-General expressed his appreciation to Thailand, as the only ASEAN country that is an Asian Partner for Co-operation of the OSCE, for its outstanding role in promoting dialogues and cooperation between the OSCE and ASEAN, including driving cooperation on security issues of mutual interest, which is crucial in the current highly uncertain international environment.

The OSCE is the world’s largest regional security organization, with over 57 participating States from Europe, North America, and Central Asia. It was established during the Cold War to strengthen the Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) and to serve as a forum for consultation, resolution, prevention, and settlement of disputes and conflicts in Europe. The OSCE's mission focuses on three security dimensions: politico-military; economic and environmental; and the human dimension. Thailand has been one of the five Asian Partners for Co-operation (along with Afghanistan, Australia, Japan, and the Republic of Korea) since 2000 and has played an active role within the OSCE framework.

เมื่อวันที่ 28 พ.ค. 2569 น.ส. ศศิริทธิ์ ตันกุลรัตน์ รองปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ในฐานะประธานคณะอนุกรรมการประชาสัมพันธ์แห่งชาติด้านต่างประเทศ ได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดการประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการขับเคลื่อนแผนการประชาสัมพันธ์แห่งชาติด้านต่างประเทศ "Beyond Thailand's Story: พลิกโฉมเรื่องเล่าไทย ให้ไกลสู่สากล" จัดโดยกรมประขาสัมพันธ์ ณ โรงแรมอัศวิน แกรนด์ คอนเวนชัน โดยมีนายปาณิดล ปัจฉิมสวัสดิ์ รองอธิบดีกรมสารนิเทศ รักษาราชการแทนอธิบดีกรมสารนิเทศ ได้รับเชิญเข้าร่วมเสวนาในหัวข้อ "Thailand Pulsing ชีพจรแบรนด์ไทย สื่อสารอย่างไรในวันที่โลกผันผวน" โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐมากกว่า 20 เข้าร่วมรับฟัง

ในห้วงเสวนา ได้มีการหารือถึงแนวทางการกำหนดประเด็นประชาสัมพันธ์แหงชาติด้านต่างประเทศ พ.ศ. 2570 ของหน่วยงานภาครัฐ เพื่อสร้างภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีของประเทศไทย โดยนายปาณิดลฯ ได้เน้นย้ำศักยภาพของไทยทั้งในมิติการเมือง เศรษฐกิจ สังคม และวัฒนธรรม ซึ่งเป็นต้นทุนที่สำคัญในการดำเนินงานด้านการสื่อสารต่อนานาชาติ เพื่อยกระดับสถานะและความเชื่อมั่นต่อไทยในสายตาประชาคมโลก พร้อมเสนอแนวทางด้านการสื่อสารต่างประเทศท่ามกลางความท้าทายของสถานการณ์โลกที่มีความผันผวนในปัจจุบัน ได้แก่ การสื่อสารข้อเท็จจริงเพื่อสร้างความเชื่อมั่น การสื่อสารเชิงสร้างสรรค์ การสื่อสารที่พร้อมตอบสนองต่อความเปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างทันท่วงที การสื่อสารเชิงยุทธศาสตร์ที่เน้นการวางแผนทั้งในระยะสั้นและยาว และการสื่อสารอย่างมีกลยุทธ์

On 28 May 2026, Ms. Sasirit Tangulrat, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, in her capacity as the Chairperson of the Sub-Committee on National Public Relations for Foreign Affairs, attended the Workshop on Steering Forward the National Public Relations Plan for Foreign Affairs under the theme "Beyond Thailand's Story: Reimagining Thailand's Narrative for the Global Stage," organised by the Foreign Office, Government Public Relations Department, at the Aswin Grand Convention Hotel. Mr. Panidone Pachimsawat, DDG and Acting DG of the Department of Information, also participated as a panelist in the discussion on “Thailand Pulsing: The Pulse of Brand Thailand - How to Communicate in a Volatile World.” The workshop was attended by representatives from more than 20 government ministries and agencies under the Sub-Committee.

During the discussion, participants exchanged views on means and ways of formulating the 2027 themes for the national public relations in the aspect of foreign affairs for government agencies with the view to promoting a positive image of Thailand the eyes of the international community. Mr. Pachimsawat underscored Thailand’s strengths in the political, economic, social, and cultural dimensions, which constitute important narratives for international communications aimed at enhancing Thailand’s standing and credibility. He also proposed 5 elements for effective strategic communications, particularly for foreign audience amid the challenges posed by today’s volatile global landscape, or “CCAST” namely: fact-based communication to maintain Thailand’s long-term credibility (Credible); creative communication (Creative); communication that is responsive and adaptable to rapid changes (Agile); strategic communication with both short- and long-term goals and planning (Strategy); and tactical communication (Tactical).
