Congratulations to our dear colleague Rena Janamnuaysook on her election to the IAS Governing Council for Asia and the Pacific! 🎉

On behalf of the Institute of HIV Research and Innovation (IHRI), we are immensely proud to celebrate this historic milestone. Rena becomes only the third Thai person to serve on the IAS Governing Council. This is not just a personal achievement; it is a landmark moment for transgender representation in global HIV leadership.

Rena's voice, lived experience, and unwavering commitment to communities have always made her an exceptional advocate. We know she will bring that same power and conviction to the highest levels of international HIV policy.

We stand with her, we celebrate her, and we cannot wait to see the change she will drive from this platform.

โดยมีตัวแทนจาก IHRI และ Tangerine Clinic เข้าร่วมงานประกาศรางวัลในค่ำคืนนี้ด้วย

รางวัลนี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นในการผลักดันให้ทุกคนเข้าถึงบริการสุขภาพได้อย่างเท่าเทียม โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มคนข้ามเพศ ซึ่งเป็นทิศทางที่ IHRI เชื่อมั่นและสนับสนุนมาตลอด

วันที่ 26-27 พฤษภาคม 2569 — IHRI และเครือข่าย MovED ได้ร่วมติดตาม ศ.กิตติคุณ นพ.ประพันธ์ ภานุภาค เข้าหารือกับ พรรคไทยสร้างไทย และพรรคประชาชน เพื่อระดมการสนับสนุนทางการเมืองในการขับเคลื่อนประเทศไทยสู่เป้าหมาย “ยุติเอดส์” อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

การหารือกับพรรคการเมืองในครั้งนี้ เป็นความต่อเนื่องของการขับเคลื่อน หลังจากที่ ศ.กิตติคุณ นพ.ประพันธ์ ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำด้านการจัดการปัญหาเอดส์ของประเทศไทยและระดับนานาชาติมายาวนานกว่า 40 ปี ได้เสนอแนวทางยุติเอดส์ของประเทศไทยต่อรัฐบาล ผ่านหนังสือปกขาว เรื่อง “ประเทศไทยยุติเอดส์ได้ภายในวาระ 4 ปีของรัฐบาลชุดใหม่ของนายอนุทิน ชาญวีระกูล (2569–2573)” ซึ่งได้ยื่นต่อนายกรัฐมนตรีเมื่อเดือนมีนาคมที่ผ่านมา

IHRI และเครือข่าย MovED ยังคงเดินหน้าหารือกับพรรคการเมืองอื่น ๆ อย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อผลักดันให้การยุติเอดส์เป็นวาระแห่งชาติที่ได้รับการสนับสนุนจากทุกภาคส่วนทางการเมือง
