On October 16, 2025, Ms. Kantarot Laopradith, Director of the Expatriate Services Division, participated in a seminar with government representatives titled “In Dialogue with Government: New Policies and Regulations for the Management of Foreign Workforce in Thailand.” The event was organized by Fragomen (Thailand) Co., Ltd. at Grand Center Point Lumphini Hotel, together with keynote speakers from related government agencies, including the Department of Employment, to provide information on rules, regulations, and criteria for approving positions and employing foreign nationals in BOI-promoted businesses, as well as the process for obtaining permission to work in Thailand.

The seminar aimed to address questions and provide essential information to companies promoted by the Board of Investment (BOI) to ensure proper and efficient compliance with the regulations governing the employment of foreign personnel. It also sought to encourage a balanced ratio of Thai and foreign employees, promote knowledge transfer to Thai personnel, and enhance the competitiveness of Thai entrepreneurs in the global market.

On October 9, 2025, Ms. Tanita Sirisup, Deputy Secretary General of the Board of Investment, presided over the opening of the seminar on "Criteria for Bringing in Foreign Skilled Workers and Experts." The event was organized by the Investor Club Association at the Miracle Grand Convention Hotel together with Ms. Kantarot Laopradith, Director of the Expatriate Services Division, and keynote speakers from related government agencies, including the Department of Employment and the Immigration Bureau providing information on privileges, rules, regulations, and criteria for approving positions and employing foreign nationals in BOI-promoted businesses, as well as the process for obtaining permission to work in Thailand.

The objective of this seminar was to prepare BOI-promoted companies to comply with foreign employment measures correctly and efficiently. This aims to foster an appropriate ratio of Thai and foreign employees and to encourage the development and transfer of knowledge to the Thai workforce, which will sustainably enhance the country's competitiveness.

บริการยื่นคำขอบรรจุฯวีซ่า BOI ผ่าน VFS Global

ตั้งแต่ 18 สิงหาคม 2568 เป็นต้นไป

เริ่มต้นให้บริการคำขอบรรจุคนต่างด้าวและขออนุญาตให้ครอบครัวเข้ามาในประเทศเป็นลำดับแรก โดยหลังกรอกคำขอบรรจุบนระบบ Single Window บริษัทสามารถตรวจสอบวันนัดหมายและเลือกใช้บริการของ VFS ได้ผ่านระบบ Single Window ในทันที

หมายเหตุ:
- บริการดังกล่าวเป็นบริการพิเศษที่มีค่าใช้จ่าย 500 บาทต่อคน
- กรณีบริษัทไม่ประสงค์ใช้บริการของ VFS สามารถยื่นขอได้ตามปกติโดยไม่มีค่าใช้จ่ายใดๆ

BOI Visa Application Service via VFS Global

Starting from 18 August 2025

VFS services for BOI visa endorsement will initially be available for requests concerning the placement of foreign personnel and their accompanying family members.
Once the request is submitted through the Single Window system, companies can immediately check available appointment dates and times and select VFS services.

Important Notes:
- This is a paid service with a fee of 500 baht per person
- In case an applicant chooses not to use the VFS service via the Single Window system, applications can still be submitted as usual at no additional cost.
