U.S. and Thai teams recently trained to save lives in northern Thailand. Thailand's Royal Thai Border Patrol Police Unit 327, the Department of National Parks, and U.S. Special Operations Command Pacific conducted specialized medical first responder training in Chiang Rai Province.

Together, we enhanced lifesaving capabilities for disaster response, trained on emergency medical procedures and evacuation techniques, and exchanged best practices and local operational insights.

This collaboration strengthens our shared readiness to respond to natural disasters, supports border security efforts, and reinforces our commitment to protecting communities – including over 21,000 American citizens living in northern Thailand.

ระหว่างวันที่ 28 เมษายน - 3 พฤษภาคม 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่บังคับใช้กฎหมายไทยได้ปฏิบัติการสำเร็จสามครั้งในจังหวัดตาก โดยมีผลลัพธ์ดังนี้
☑ จับกุมผู้ต้องสงสัย 12 ราย
☑ ยึดเมทแอมเฟตามีนเกือบ 14.8 ล้านเม็ด (1,480 กิโลกรัม)
☑ ยึดคีตามีน 199 กิโลกรัม
ปฏิบัติการเหล่านี้มุ่งเป้าไปที่เครือข่ายการค้ายาเสพติดที่ดำเนินการในพื้นที่ชายแดนภาคเหนือและภาคกลางของประเทศไทย และประสบความสำเร็จได้ด้วยการประสานงานอย่างใกล้ชิดกับสำนักงานปราบปรามยาเสพติดสหรัฐฯ (DEA) ซึ่งให้การสนับสนุนทางเทคนิคและให้คำปรึกษาด้านปฏิบัติการ

Between April 28-May 3, 2026, Thai law enforcement conducted three successful operations in Tak Province, resulting in:
☑ 12 arrests
☑ Nearly 14.8 million methamphetamine tablets seized (1,480 kg)
☑ 199 kg of ketamine seized
These operations targeted trafficking networks operating across northern and central Thailand's border areas and were made possible thanks to close coordination with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, who provides technical support and operational mentorship.
