Start your day with the sunrise, breathe with 500+ people, and celebrate Yoga – India’s ancient gift for mind-body balance. This year’s session follows the Common Yoga Protocol, open to all levels. No experience needed, just bring your energy!

The 12th International Day of Yoga season is about to begin, and we’re starting where history and heart meet – Mae Sot.

The Consulate of India, Chiang Mai, in partnership with the Indian Association of Mae Sot - IAM, is delighted to announce a special Yoga session in the historic border town on Sunday, 14 June 2026 under the theme “Yoga for Wellness, Wisdom & World Peace”.

Mae Sot has been home to a vibrant Indian diaspora for generations – traders, teachers, professionals who have built bridges between India and Thailand. This event is for them, and for every friend of India in Tak Province and beyond.

Breathe. Stretch. Balance. Inspire.

Join us as we roll out the mats together for health, harmony, and community. All ages, all levels welcome – no experience needed.

This is just the first stop. More IDY events across Northern Thailand will follow as we build up to 21 June 2026, International Day of Yoga.

แม่สอดเป็นบ้านของชาวอินเดียโพ้นทะเลที่เข้มแข็งมาหลายชั่วอายุคน – ทั้งพ่อค้า ครู และมืออาชีพ ที่สร้างสะพานเชื่อมระหว่างอินเดียและไทย กิจกรรมครั้งนี้จัดขึ้นเพื่อพวกเขา และเพื่อมิตรทุกท่านของอินเดียในจังหวัดตากและพื้นที่ใกล้เคียง

หายใจเข้า ยืดเส้น สมดุล และสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ
มาร่วมกางเสื่อโยคะกับเราสำหรับสุขภาพ ความสมดุล และความเป็นชุมชน ทุกวัย ทุกระดับประสบการณ์เข้าร่วมได้ ไม่จำเป็นต้องมีพื้นฐาน

The Consulate of India, Chiang Mai invites bids from reputed, experienced, and registered Security Agencies/Firms for the supply of two (02) unarmed Security Guards for a period of 2 years w.e.f. 1st October 2026.

Key Details:

Service: 2 shifts of 8 hours each daily (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM & 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM), 7 days a week

Pre-Bid Meeting: 12th June 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Consulate premises
