Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark, the Khorat Fossil Museum, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, organized workshop for Khorat Geopark's Interpreters on March 26–27, 2026. The event was held at the Sirindhorn Building, Khorat Fossil Museum, to prepare interpreters for the upcoming UNESCO Global Geopark Revalidation Mission later this year.

​This initiative follows the holistic cooperation model based on UNESCO guidelines, with support from the Environmental Fund and Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. It integrates collaboration between the public and private sectors, academia, and local communities across five districts: Mueang, Sung Noen, Sikhio, Kham Thale So, and Chaloem Phra Kiat, with over 100 local representatives and youth in attendance.

​The workshop focused on integrated data management, where stakeholders shared progress on geopark initiatives within their respective areas. Geological, natural, and cultural data were compiled to co-design presentation strategies aligned with the revalidation goals. A key highlight was the English communication training, aimed at empowering site interpreters to present effectively and independently. Furthermore, primary coordinators for each site were designated through mutual consensus.

​This two-day training emphasized establishing Best Practices to ensure that everyone within the Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark territory operates as a unified team with a shared vision. This collective readiness ensures we serve as exceptional hosts while fostering long-term sustainability for the region.

โคราชจีโอพาร์คโลก โดยสถาบันวิจัยไม้กลายเป็นหินฯ มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา จัดกิจกรรมอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ “นักสื่อความหมายแหล่งพื้นที่โคราชจีโอพาร์ค” ระหว่างวันที่ 26 - 27 มีนาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมชั้น 2 อาคารสิรินธร สถาบันวิจัยไม้กลายเป็นหินฯ เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมนักสื่อความหมายสำหรับการรับการตรวจประเมินซ้ำ (Revalidation Mission) จาก UNESCO ที่จะมีขึ้นภายในปีนี้

​กิจกรรมครั้งนี้ดำเนินการภายใต้โครงการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทุกภาคส่วนแบบองค์รวมตามแนวทางยูเนสโก โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนจากกองทุนสิ่งแวดล้อม และมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา บูรณาการความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน ภาคการศึกษา และชุมชนใน 5 อำเภอ ได้แก่ อำเภอเมือง, อำเภอสูงเนิน, อำเภอสีคิ้ว (Sikhio), อำเภอขามทะเลสอ และอำเภอเฉลิมพระเกียรติ โดยมีตัวแทนพื้นที่และเยาวชนกว่า 100 คน เข้าร่วม

​ภายในงานมีการจัดการข้อมูลแบบบูรณาการ ทุกภาคส่วนร่วมกันแบ่งปันความก้าวหน้าในการขับเคลื่อนจีโอพาร์คในพื้นที่ของตนเอง รวบรวมข้อมูลทางธรณีวิทยา ธรรมชาติ และวัฒนธรรม เพื่อร่วมกันออกแบบวิธีการนำเสนอข้อมูลให้ตรงตามเป้าหมายการตรวจประเมิน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการฝึกทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ เพื่อยกระดับให้นักสื่อความหมายแต่ละแหล่งสามารถนำเสนอได้ด้วยตนเองอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ พร้อมทั้งกำหนดและเสนอผู้ประสานงานหลักในแต่ละแหล่งภายใต้การเห็นชอบร่วมกันของทุกฝ่าย

​การอบรมตลอด 2 วันนี้ มุ่งเน้นการสร้างแนวทางปฏิบัติที่ดีร่วมกัน (Best Practices) เพื่อให้มั่นใจว่าทุกคนในพื้นที่โคราชจีโอพาร์คโลกเป็นทีมเดียวกันและมีเป้าหมายเดียวกัน มีความพร้อมในฐานะเจ้าบ้านที่ดี ตลอดจนรักษาความยั่งยืนของพื้นที่สืบต่อไป

Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark Participates in the "Kin Khao Kham Festival 2026" to Empower Cultural Heritage and Geopark Gastronomy Soft Power

Khorat UNESCO Global Geopark is honored to participate in the "Kin Khao Kham Festival," a longstanding cultural tradition of Sung Noen District. This year, at the Sung Noen Municipality booth, we are proud to showcase a collaborative effort supported by Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU).
Under the project titled "Communication to Empower Food Soft Power Towards Creative Tourism in the Sung Noen Geopark Area, Nakhon Ratchasima Province," led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Peerawich Khamjaroen, we have worked closely with the "Geopark Tourism Community Enterprise by the Sung Noen Community" to transform local resources into innovative culinary offerings.

A highlight of this development is the "Crispy Korat Noodle Salad with Pomelo," a creative dish that merges the famous Korat noodles with the local flavors of Sung Noen. This menu is just one example of our ongoing commitment to community-based creative tourism. Stay tuned for more exciting culinary developments from our geopark partners.

โคราชจีโอพาร์ค มีความยินดีที่ได้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการสืบสานและสนับสนุนวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นใน “งานประเพณีกินเข่าค่ำ ของดีเมืองสูงเนิน” ประจำปี ๒๕๖๙ โดยกิจกรรม ณ ซุ้มเทศบาลตำบลสูงเนิน ได้รับการสนับสนุนองค์ความรู้จาก มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏนครราชสีมา ผ่านการดำเนินงานภายใต้โครงการการสื่อสารเพื่อเสริมพลังซอฟท์พาวเวอร์ด้านอาหารสู่การท่องเที่ยวเชิงสร้างสรรค์ในพื้นที่จีโอพาร์คอำเภอสูงเนิน จังหวัดนครราชสีมา นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พีรวิชญ์ คำเจริญ ซึ่งได้ลงพื้นที่พัฒนาสูตรอาหารท้องถิ่นร่วมกับ วิสาหกิจชุมชนท่องเที่ยวจีโอพาร์คโดยชุมชนอำเภอสูงเนิน เพื่อผสานเอกลักษณ์ของทรัพยากรธรรมชาติในพื้นที่จีโอพาร์คเข้ากับภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น จนเกิดเป็นเมนูสร้างสรรค์ที่หลากหลาย
ในวันนี้ คณะทำงานขอแนะนำหนึ่งในเมนูต้นแบบยำหมี่กรอบส้มโอซึ่งเป็นการนำหมี่โคราชอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ มายกระดับด้วยรสชาติสดใหม่จากส้มโอในพื้นที่ เพื่อเปิดประสบการณ์ใหม่ด้านรสชาติให้กับนักท่องเที่ยวและผู้ร่วมงาน (ชิมฟรีภายในงาน)
