Today (1 October 2026) at 3:00 p.m., Pol. Lt. Gen. Nopasin Poolsawat, Commissioner of the Immigration Bureau, inspected the operations of the Suvarnabhumi Airport Immigration Checkpoint on his first day in office. The visit focused on monitoring assistance provided to passengers affected by flight cancellations and delayed baggage. He also instructed officers to conduct strict screening of persons entering and leaving the country, while ensuring efficient and courteous services for legitimate travelers and maintaining close coordination with the airport, airlines, and relevant agencies.
The Commissioner also inspected the Automated Border Control (ABC) system, which helps speed up the immigration inspection process. The Immigration Bureau has approved the use of automated channels for nationals of an additional 31 countries/territories, up from the previous 2, in order to accommodate and expedite the processing of arriving passengers.
วันนี้ (1 ตุลาคม 2569) เวลา 15.00 น. พล.ต.ท.นพศิลป์ พูลสวัสดิ์ ผบช.สตม. ลงพื้นที่ตรวจการปฏิบัติงานของ ด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมืองท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ ในวันแรกที่เข้ารับตำแหน่ง เพื่อติดตามการช่วยเหลือผู้โดยสารจากกรณีเที่ยวบินยกเลิกและสัมภาระตกค้าง พร้อมกำชับเจ้าหน้าที่ คัดกรองบุคคลเข้า–ออกประเทศอย่างเข้มงวด ควบคู่การอำนวยความสะดวกแก่ผู้เดินทางสุจริต และประสานท่าอากาศยาน สายการบิน และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างใกล้ชิด
พร้อมกันนี้ ได้ตรวจการใช้งาน ช่องตรวจหนังสือเดินทางอัตโนมัติ (ABC) ซึ่งช่วยเพิ่มความรวดเร็วในการตรวจคนเข้าเมือง โดย สตม. อนุมัติให้คนต่างด้าวใช้ช่องตรวจอัตโนมัติเพิ่มอีก 31 สัญชาติ/ดินแดน จากเดิม 2 สัญชาติ/ดินแดน เพื่อรองรับและระบายผู้โดยสารขาเข้าให้รวดเร็วยิ่งขึ้น
